Penelitian ini menguraikan penerapan aplikasi studi olah kata persuasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan sosial kemasyarakatan. Penerapan studi olah kata ini menggunakan kalimat persuasi yang memiliki makna kalimat yang digunakan untuk memengaruhi seseorang agar berniat mengikuti hal yang disampaikan oleh komunikator. Metode pengumpulan dan analisis data ini memakai studi literatur atau kepustakaan. Adapun pembahasan ini adalah konsep olah kata persuasi ini dimaknai adanya pemakaian kata-kata yang didesain sedemikian rupa oleh pembicara untuk dapat memersuasi atau mengajak atau memengaruhi pendengar agar mau menuruti keinginan si pembicara dan juga adanya upaya pemaknaan secara pragmatis. Contoh aplikasi olah kata persuasi dan makna secara pragmatis adalah Setiap saat kita memberikan perhatian kepada seseorang yang kita cintai tapi nanti saat perayaan Valentine atau hari kasih sayang yang jatuh pada 14 Februari 2024, mari jatuhkan hatimu pada orang yang akan membangun negeri ini untuk menuju Indonesia yang lebih baik. Makna kalimat itu adalah pemilihan umum akan dilaksanakan pada 14 Februari 2024 dan diharapkan seluruh masyarakat Indonesia melakukan pemilihan dan menggunakan hati nurani dalam memilih calon pemimpin Indonesia.

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at understanding the representation of character identity in the collection of short stories titled "Sagra" by Oka Rusmini. Data was collected using observation and note-taking methods, with the researcher herself as the research instrument. The data analysis involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The research findings revealed the representation of character identity in two aspects (1) Caste as the determinant of identity: The caste system plays a significant role in shaping identity and is a commonly found patriarchal culture in various societies. The Sudra caste is negatively viewed by the society around the griya (traditional Balinese house). (2) Hegemony of customs and stratification in Bali. The stratification in Bali is maintained by authoritative traditions, reinforced by familial ethics. Fanaticism is also developed and created by the noble class to legitimize the hegemony that when a woman ascends in caste, she should be respected by fellow Sudras, but her status remains below those of pure Brahmin lineage.

The current real condition in Indonesia, reading has not become a daily culture of society, especially for the students. For the students, reading is not something fun to be done even on the contrary it becomes something boring and saturating. This study aimed at examining the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by a fairytale toward students' reading skills. This study was a quasi-experimental study designed in a non-equivalent post-test only control group. The population of this study was 98 students. The sample of this study was the fifth grade of Kaliuntu 3 Elementary School, with 23 students and the fifth grade of Kaliuntu 2 Elementary School with 18 students, determined by random sampling technique. Reading skill test in the form of an objective test of 25 questions was used as the instrument. The obtained data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis (t-test). Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount was greater than ttable (tcount 4.31> ttable 2.042) so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that there are significant differences in reading skills between the groups of students who are taught using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models assisted by fairy tales and the groups of students who were taught using conventional learning. Based on the average value it was known that the average value of the experimental group was greater than the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that the fairytale assisted Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model has a positive effect on students' reading skills in elementary school students. This finding will have implications that is, to improve students' reading skills at the elementary school can be done by using a CIRC learning model assisted by fairy tales assisted by fairy tales.
