2 PREFACE This study is intended to be a handbook in applied archetypal field theory for HUD and public housing personnel, social service staff professionals, seminary faculties and students, diocesan diaconate formation personnel and other educational and training organizations. I make use of it myself as a source text in a course on Religion and Psychology. The application of the concepts I describe is to a housing project, but it can be applied to any social group, organization or institution. It's like a "template," which one can use to analyze any particular group, especially from the perspective of archetypal field theory. This template is best symbolized and concretized in the pyramid first popularized by Morton Kelsey in his writings (a form of which is found on p. 118). My hope is that those who use this study will become accustomed to looking for and identifying archetypal patterns, fields and their derivatives (see chapter 14).
