The article aimed to determine the specificity of computer game discourse, its features, key linguistic characteristics, and communicative features. The methodology included the analysis of computer game discourse materials, in particular, dictionary articles, texts of electronic messages, and computer conferences, as well as recordings of fragments of the spoken language of users and users of computer games. The specific feature of computer discourse is the selective combination of features, typical for other types and forms of communication. Computer discourse has some communicative features: electronic communication channel; mediated communication; distance communication; emotionality transmission through emoji symbols; genre heterogeneity; discourse participants' creativity. Computer discourse is characterized by the dominance of English-language lexical bases (barbarisms and semantic translations) and a tendency to unify the norms and rules of communication. Despite such specificity, computer jargon in its functioning and especially word formation is subject to the laws of the Ukrainian language. In particular, affixal, non-affixal, and lexico-semantic are the most widespread modes of word formation in the computer lexicon. At the same time, lexico-semantic can be combined with other known ways. Computer vocabulary is characterized by the use of speech games and means of speech expression. The key tendency in the formation of computer discourse is to reduce the ways of information transmission as much as possible.

The transition to digital technologies and the remoteness of workplaces put forward new requirements in the textual materials of the mass media in order to increase the competitive advantages of individual online companies (editions) and the perception of readers. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to evaluate modern means of forming the perception and expressiveness of texts in an online format in order to maintain the loyalty of readers and website visitors. The article proves the need to improve the perception and expressiveness of text formats of online publications as a basic factor in increasing the competitiveness of media companies due to the expansion of the circle of readers and their retention as potential consumers of information products. It was noted that site visitors psychologically evaluate text materials on an emotional basis. Therefore, this aspect is fundamental in the formation of the relationship "consumer of information - emotional content of the text". The effectiveness of modern means of expressiveness of the Internet media regarding the presentation of text materials in Internet publications and stylistic design is noted. It is indicated that the further development of texts from the standpoint of emotional content is possible due to the use of innovative technologies based on artificial intelligence. Further research in the formation of textual materials should focus on the "editor-reader" relationship.

The article notes that the problem of organization of professional development of teachers of higher educational institutions is related to the orientation of the higher education in Ukraine towards the European educational standards and is associated with the need for continuous professional development of the teaching staff at the tertiary level. Another factor is the necessity in actual professional reaction to the challenges brought about by the world pandemic and, as a result, digitalization of the basic social spheres and institutions, educational, in particular. The article provides the analysis and implementation of the world experience in organization of the process of educating and further professional development of teachers using contemporary educational online platforms. Based on modern research on the problem and taking into account the socio-economic requirements of the time, the main competences that determine the required level of the professional level of a teacher of the higher educational institution are determined. The article presents the experience of implementing upgrading skills programs for teachers of higher educational institutions using online platforms: trainings, webinars, master classes, participation in academic mobility programs, Master degree training programs which have been piloted at the universities of Kharkiv to develop certain competences.
