This study aimed to identify the "Total Quality Management in Commercial Banks", andthe impact of the application of total quality management to improve performance andservice provided to customers, as reflected objective of the study by providing some of therecommendations and proposals that help and foreign commercial banks to raise theeffectiveness of the performance, making it play an important role in the development ofskills, experience and knowledge of their workforces, which in turn is reflected on theimprovement of the service.


Dynamic condition correlation and asymmetric volatility phenomenon: Case study in major European countries

This study is aimed mainly to examine the presence of a symmetric conditional second moments in major European stock market and the effect of Euro in the correlation between the indices of those stock markets. This issue is carried out through Dynamic Conditional Correlation (DCC) model of Engle (2002) and developed by Sheppard (2002) and DCC form of EGARCH model by Nelson 1991. The empirical evidence suggests that index return series show strong a symmetric in conditional volatility, it is also found that the correlation increase with the introduction of the Euro, the introduction of the fixed exchange rate regime leads to near perfect correlation among major European stock markets.

This research paper develops an suitable econometric model whereby the primary determinants of profitability of the commercial banks in Jordan. To achieve this purpose, an econometric model based on internal aspects of the banking organizations as they related to their return on assets and their return on equity, also an external aspects of the environment in which they insert as measured by growth in GDP was developed based on guidance provided by economists and industry experts. A critical analysis of the related peer-reviewed, academic and organizational literature is followed by an analysis of the statistical data for these banks. The paper includes several graphs, tables, and charts.
