Le projet de ce numéro est né au moment de l’affaire dite du Sofitel. En effet, et quels que soient les jugements qui seront finalement rendus aux États-Unis, et en France dans l’affaire dite du Carlton, les inculpations de Dominique Strauss-Kahn ont suscité d’abondants commentaires, ordinaires ou savants. Les interrogations — « comment une grande femme baraquée aurait pu accepter contre son gré une fellation ? » — les affirmations — « “viol en réunion” pour une prostituée, cela n’a pas de sens ! » — les spéculations — « comment un “séducteur” pourrait-il se transformer en violeur ? » — invitaient à s’interroger sur une notion souvent omise par la presse comme par nombre d’intellectuels : celle de consentement…
