The objective of this paper is to develop a link between standardisation of traceability and performance within the WSC by proposing a methodology that connects the two dimensions, using indicators on which all WSC members can rely. This approach is essential to improve two aspects of WSC dynamics: (1) the identification of potential operational problems in WSC monitoring; and (2) the definition of a set of guidelines to facilitate logistical decisionmaking (Garcia et al., 2014).
