In this study a proportional random sampling formula was used. For collecting the data, it used surveys on learning opportunities and student motivation in schools. Analysis of research data used simple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) the significance value was 0.030; because 0.030 < 0.05 H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, from a learning institution. (2) R yields 0.210, ie. the low relationship between learning opportunities at school and motivation (3) The coefficient of determination (R2) 0.044 indicates this contribution of the influence of the independent variable is 4.4%. It indicates that 4.4% of students' learning motivation was influenced by the institution. Meanwhile, learning at school, 95.6% is influenced by factors outside of school as discussed in the study.
