Through this study, we are going to explore the importance of mathematization in physics problem-solving according to teachers’ views and observations in the region of Fez-Meknes Morocco. Data collection was based on a questionnaire for 141 teachers. The results obtained have shown. Firstly, physics mathematization problem-solving is important, but...
Paramedical training field allows the integration of practical and theoretical knowledge, the mobilization of knowledge offers the possibility to test the skills necessary for the exercise of the profession. Nursing education is organized based on the principle of alternating between theoretical learning in classrooms, and practical learning in the...
In recent decades, the field of physics and mathematics has developed more than before. But learners cannot use their knowledge between these two subject areas. In the present work, we propose to analyze the observations of high school physics teachers in relation to the mathematization of physics by applying Information and Communication Technolog...
This work investigates science major students’ misconceptions about “force and motion.” Stratified-convenience sampling method has been conducted on 232 Moroccan high school students. Using Force Concept Inventory (FCI), we examined all known misconceptions listed in the original article by Hestenes et al. (1992 Hestenes, D., Wells, M., & Swackhame...
We conducted a training experimentation on computer coding whose aim is to probe ICT skills enhancement of pre-service teachers in Morocco. For that, we have developed and implemented training sessions using a visual programming tool (Scratch) targeting 63 prospective teachers at the Faculty of Educational Sciences (FSE) and the Regional Center for...
This article aims at characterizing the digital culture of prospective Moroccan primary school teachers during their training. The study was conducted as a survey on a sample of prospective primary school teachers from Morocco. A descriptive frequency analysis was performed using SPSS. The results show that this digital culture is rooted more consi...
Computer science as a school subject has been a regular media subject for more than 20 years. Indeed, all the educational systems of the world are now convinced that today's learners, brought to live in a hyper-scientific society. This research aims to discover the sources of computer difficulties encountered by some nursing students. We used two w...
The Moroccan education system has undergone several reforms, the latest reform aimed at improving the qualifying training of future teachers by integrating the basis of the teaching profession professionalization; which requires the development of professional competencies. In fact, the future teacher must learn to take a critical look at his class...
Learning algorithmics and programming fundamental courses is widely considered to be quite challenging in the field of computer science. Gamification is a good alternative educational practice to promote programming teaching, it allows better engagement of students in their learning. Students acquire a reasonable level of abstraction and logic and...
Current reforms of education systems seek to improve the learning environment and opt for a more active role of students in the construction of learning to increase their academic performance. In Morocco, several reforms have been carried out over the last two decades to address the shortcomings of the education system. Still, the results of nation...
Current educational research is almost unanimous on the fundamental role of the competence approach (CA) for effective learning. In fact, on one hand it promotes a better learning, on the other hand it guarantees less stressful conditions for teachers. To be part of this movement, the Moroccan education system adopted this approach since 2000. Sinc...

Background: The integration of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in education is no longer a "pedagogical luxury" but a search of the compliance of human learning environments with the experiences of current students. Based on this observation, the physics teachers increasingly use the tool to overcome the difficulties associated with...

... Thus, Moroccan secondary school students often need mathematical reminders to exploit problem-solving successfully ((Q9) and (Q10)). Therefore, success in physics teaching requires innovation in the physics mathematization curriculum (Q12) by applying for example information and communication technologies (ICT) (Drigas & Kontopoulou, 2016;El Azzouzi et al., 2022) or a STEM-based methodology (Zaher & Damaj, 2018). ...
... Numerous studies have focused on analysing the digital training and attitudes towards ICT of educational professionals in formal education [4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] and show the most marked concerns of this group. The lack of initial training in concepts related to educational technology is highlighted [12]. ...
... With the restructuring of the education department and teacher training, programmes are updated and opened at the school, and in turn upper secondary education students in terms of domain knowledge and become better equipped for the teaching of formation for enhanced, revised and accreditation efforts which were initiated in the schools of education, with special teaching methods. The main purpose of all these initiatives is to train more qualified teachers who will meet the needs of the country (El Hassouny et al., 2021). Students who are open to innovation, who are in constant cooperation and learning with their peers, who are aware of legal, ethical and social issues, as well as field and method knowledge, play a more active role in the process of integrating current technologies into teaching environments and become more successful (Pappadà, et al., 2021). ...
... Under the interaction of numerous individuals, the current social network is full of various information at every moment [1,2]. In this case, it has become a significant research topic to comprehend the behavior interaction [3], viewpoint evolution and information diffusion on social networks. ...
... Whereas the participants' discursive constructions of digital artifacts are associated, mostly, with iPads, SmartBoards, and YouTube, it is evident from Table 1 that the use of digital artifacts varies depending on whether or not they teach aspects of English grammar and/or phonetics on the one hand and children's literature in English on the other hand. This finding is in line with the recent literature (Bader, Iversen and Burner 2021;Ou-sekou, Kaddari and Zaid 2021) that argues that the use of digital artifacts in the EFL classroom depends on the teachers' linguodidactic routines and practices that are related to the teachers' personal preferences for using a particular digital resource. Seen from a more general perspective on digitalisation in primary school contexts, these findings are evocative of the argument proposed by Lund and Aagaard (2020: 59), who suggest that digital artifacts function as gatekeepers to societal and cultural practices that involve, as the present findings show, a varied use of the digital artifacts depending on the teaching task at hand. ...
... The adoption of game elements in serious contexts, such as business and education, is closely related to gamification implementation [15], [16]. According to Werbach and Hunter, the gamification model has three components: dynamics, mechanics and components [17]. ...
... Other studies have shown that Moroccan SE students face three principal problems: the complexity of SC, the rapid forgetting of the acquired notions and the overloaded program. They add another serious problem most notably that of the difficulty to assimilate the optic concepts [45,46]. Moreover, SE is conditioned by the school text books required by the ministry of national education (MEN) [46]. ...
