Online social networks, which have emerged as a popular virtual communication medium among people, are driving the contemporary period. Via social media posts, people frequently share photographs, videos, and voice their opinions on a variety of topics. As online social networks have let individuals engage and connect virtually throughout the world, they also expose users to many types of cyberfraud. Identifying a real user profile on social media has therefore gained major relevance in distinguishing genuine social media users from cyber criminals. In this regard, the goal of this study is to propose an approach that recognizes and classifies user profiles as genuine or not real. This approach is based on a recent bio-inspired algorithm and Machine learning techniques. The results of the experiment reveal that the suggested approach attained an average accuracy of 95% in the classification task with the used dataset
