The article discuss the research on a perception of parental attitudes among students of a secondary and high schools (N=1074l, aged 16-18). PCR (The Parent – Child Relations) questionnaire by A. Roe and M. Siegelman was used. The PCR consists of 50 variables measuring mother and father attitude on five scales. The authors try to find the differences between migrational and non-migrational families in a attitude structure. They also estimate the role of migration length and structure, as well as the student’s sex. Additional analysis was made on emotional transfer: the impact of one parent migration on the perception of a second parent . The migrational separation is a significant event in a family, but parents – both leaving and staying – are still loving and sensible.
