... Currently, 453 species belonging to 63 genera from this family are known in Europe, North Africa and the Caucasus (Nentwig et al. 2021). In Turkey, the number of Salticidae species has increased to 145 from 134 due to recent studies (Logunov 2015, Coşar & Varol 2016, Yalçın et al. 2016, Kirazci et al. 2017, Topçu & Demircan 2018, Topçu & Demircan-Aksan 2020, Danışman et al. 2021).
