Character building as an effort to fulfil Pancasila as mandated in the opening of the 1945 Constitution is a guideline for educators to provide role models in accordance with Pancasila values for students and the younger generation. This study aims to determine the factors that cause the lack of practice of Pancasila values in students, and to determine the Role of Teachers and Role Models through daily behavior. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were obtained from literature review of Education journals. The results of this study explained that the factors causing the lack of practice of Pancasila values in students are the Lack of Practice of Pancasila Values, the Role of Teachers and Parents, the Pancasila Student Program, the Influence of the Social Environment, the Challenges of Media and Technology so that efforts to improve understanding and practice of Pancasila values require cooperation from all parties, to form a young generation with character and morals in accordance with the ideology of the Indonesian nation. Then for the Role of Role Models in building Pancasila character to Students including. The Role of Teachers and Role Models through daily behavior, such as showing tolerance, respecting diversity, and teaching cooperation. Learning Environment and Practical Activities such as mutual cooperation and social activities can strengthen their understanding of Pancasila values and foster important life skills. Positive Reinforcement and Motivation by implementing Pancasila values in education, deviant behavior can be minimized, and students are expected to become nationalistic and patriotic individuals. The Importance of Families in providing good guidance and role models for children, so that children can grow into obedient, caring, and well-mannered individuals.

This study aims to determine the effect and difference of rewards and punishments on increasing students' enthusiasm for learning at SDN Pekayon 15 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method, an experimental design approach. The sample in this study was 20 students of grade II of elementary school at SDN Pekayon 15 Jakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, a sample of 20. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is paired sample test analysis. Before conducting the analysis test, the researcher conducted a prerequisite test, namely the normality test, and the homogeneity test. The results showed that the Reward and Punishment variables have a significant influence on learning motivation. This research shows that the score of reward, the t value is 22.569 with a significance of 0.000, indicating a very significant effect. The punishments have a significant influence; the t value of the punishment variable is 2.747 with a significance of 0.029. Therefore, the conclusion of this study shows that there is an influence of reward and punishment on student enthusiasm, then the results also show a significant difference between the reward and punishment variables in increasing students’ enthusiasm in learning.

Background: The development of Pancasila character in early childhood is very important, especially in the context of working families who often face challenges in providing optimal character education. The character of Pancasila includes values such as justice, tolerance, and mutual cooperation, which need to be instilled from an early age to form a generation with integrity. Research Objectives: This research aims to explore the strategy of developing Pancasila character in early childhood in working families, as well as understand the experiences and challenges faced by parents in the process. Research Method: This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, which allows researchers to explore the subjective experiences of parents in developing Pancasila characters in their children. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with working parents, as well as observations of their interactions with children. Research Findings: The use of quality time with children, involving the family in character building, introducing children to religious and social activities, and the use of technology to learn Pancasila values, are all important aspects in shaping the character of Pancasila in children. This helps strengthen moral values, social concerns, and positive communication between parents and children, thereby helping children understand and apply Pancasila values better. Research Conclusion: This study concludes that the development of Pancasila character in early childhood in working families requires collaboration between parents, educational institutions, and the community. Greater support from the surrounding environment can help parents in implementing effective strategies. Research Novelty: This study provides new insights into how working families can contribute to the development of Pancasila character, as well as highlighting the importance of the role of the social environment in supporting the character education process at home.

The main issue in this research is the lack of understanding and deep habituation of essential character values. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the character of mutual cooperation in kindergarten students in Bandung City, Indonesia. The methodology of this research uses quantitative methods and quasi-experimental techniques. The research design adopted is the non-equivalent pretest-posttest Post-test Control Group Design. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire given to the students' parents. This questionnaire measures the components of mutual cooperation. A total of 26 respondents from School A and 18 respondents from School B participated in this study. The analysis results show that the character of mutual cooperation is already possessed by students in both schools. The average score for mutual cooperation is 1.77 (SD = 1.107) in School A and 1.50 (SD = 0.786) in School B. However, these values need to be improved. This research recommends the use of the traditional Papancakan game to strengthen the character of mutual cooperation. The integration of local cultural wisdom into the early childhood education curriculum is very important for the development of children's character. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi karakter gotong royong pada siswa TK di Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang diadopsi adalah Non-equivalent Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang diberikan kepada orang tua siswa. Kuesioner ini mengukur komponen gotong royong. Sebanyak 26 responden dari Sekolah A dan 18 responden dari Sekolah B berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakter gotong royong sudah dimiliki oleh siswa di kedua sekolah. Skor rata-rata untuk gotong royong, skor rata-rata adalah 1.77 (SD = 1.107) di Sekolah A dan 1.50 (SD = 0.786) di Sekolah B. Namun, nilai-nilai tersebut perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan permainan tradisional Papancakan untuk memperkuat karakter gotong royong. Integrasi kearifan budaya lokal dalam kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini sangat penting untuk perkembangan karakter anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bamainan masyarakat Banjar melakukan penanaman karakter disiplin dengan menamakan pembentukan, hasil dari temuan penelitian tentang proses penanaman karakter disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pembiasaan adalah: (1) guru membiasakan anak untuk datang tepat waktu; (2) guru membiasakan anak untuk mengembalikan barang ke tempat semula; (3) guru membiasakan anak untuk membereskan mainan setelah bermain di dalam kelas; (4) guru membiasakan anak untuk bersabar dan tertib dalam menunggu giliran mencuci tangan; dan (5) guru membiasakan anak untuk mengantri ketika ingin ke kamar mandi. Pembiasaan yang dilakukan tidak hanya pembiasaan melalui ucapan atau kata motivasi saja, namun pembiasaan melalui perilaku juga dilakukan di masyarakat Banjar, perilaku yang ditunjukkan oleh anak setelah mendapatkan pembiasaan dari guru yaitu: (1) anak datang tepat waktu, akan tetapi ada beberapa anak yang belum bisa datang tepat waktu, hal ini mengacu pada jumlah anak yang terlambat setiap hari mengalami naik turun; (2) anak mengembalikan barang yang telah digunakan pada tempatnya, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kesadaran anak mengembalikan barang yang telah digunakan pada tempatnya tanpa diminta oleh guru, baik itu mainan ataupun alat tulis; (3) tertib dalam menunggu giliran, hal ini di tunjukkan dengan kesadaran anak berbaris di belakang temanya ketika ingin mencuci tangan tanpa didampingi oleh guru. Faktor pendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin di masyarakat Banjar yaitu adanya contoh dari guru, dan konsistensi yang dilakukan guru. Faktor yang menghambat pembentukan karakter disiplin di masyarakat Banjar yaitu ada beberapa orang tua yang tidak peduli dengan perkembangan anaknya, dan tidak adanya kerja sama antara orang tua dan sekolah, dan kematangan usia anak juga mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter disiplin anak usia dini di masyarakat Banjar.


Peningkatan Aktualisasi Nilai - Nilai Pancasila pada Generasi Muda Melalui Proyek Dialektika Pancasila

Generasi muda sebagai pilar masa depan suatu bangsa menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan dinamika yang mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter mereka di era global dan digital. Generasi muda saat ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti pendidikan, lingkungan sosial, teknologi, dan pengaruh orang tua dalam membentuk motivasi dan niat mereka dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran. Penelitian yang menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam satu atau serangkaian penelitian dikenal dengan metode campuran. Uji coba yang dilakukan di Kota Tangerang menunjukkan bahwa model ini dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif, dengan beberapa perbaikan dan penyesuaian yang terus dilakukan untuk memastikan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, model proyek Dialektika Pancasila memiliki potensi yang besar dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda yang dibangun di atas prinsip-prinsip Pancasila.


INTERNALISASI NILAI PANCASILA DALAM PRAKTIK DISKRESI BAGI PENGAMBILAN KEBIJAKAN

Tulisan ini mengajak pembaca untuk menganalisis keberadaan diskresi dengan tidak terbatas pada hukum positif yang biasa dipergunakan oleh pendekatan hukum administrasi negara, melainkan dari sudut pandang hukum kodrat yang secara filosofis diisi oleh nilai-nilai ideologis seperti Pancasila sebagai sebuah recht ide negara yang bersifat lebih luas serta mendasari substansi aturan yang terkandung dalam hukum positif tersebut. Dengan mempergunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan teoretis-konseptual, tulisan ini mengklaim bahwa untuk mengatasi persoalan diskresi, diperlukan dua langkah terobosan, yakni menempatkan diskresi dalam kerangka hukum kodrat yang berbasis pada Pancasila dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila bukan lagi kepada muatan atau isi diskresi, tetapi kepada pejabat pemerintah sebagai pengguna diskresi itu sendiri. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga menyarankan agar pemerintah lebih memerhatikan Indikator Nilai Pancasila sebagai pedoman dalam pengambilan diskresi.

p>Pendidikan karakter merupakan dasar bagi suatu bangsa untuk mampu bertahan ditengah perkembangan zaman. Bangsa yang memiliki karakter kuat akan mampu mencapai puncak peradaban dunia. Saat ini banyak anak muda mengalami penurunan karakter akibat pergaulan yang tidak tepat sehingga berakhir di Lembaga pembinaan khusus anak kelas IIA Bandung. Tujuan pembinaan adalah kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas, ketakwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, intelektual, sikap dan perilaku, pelatihan keterampilan, profesional, serta kesehatan jasmani dan rohani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak binaan di LPKA IIA Bandung mengalami banyak tantangan dalam proses pembiasaan karakter religious. Hal ini terjadi karena mereka tidak terbiasa untuk melakukan kegiatan berbasis keagamaan sebelumnya. Dengan meningkatnya karakter religius anak binaan berbasis pesantren, diharapkan akan menjadi lebih produktif dan menjadi warga negara bertanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga dan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan program pembinaan karakter di lembaga-lembaga serupa, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan kualitas pembinaan karakter religius di Indonesia.</p


Promoting Pancasila values through dialectical project-based learning for Indonesian youth

The young generation in Indonesia is confronted with specific challenges in navigating the adverse effects of globalisation, which have the potential to erode the values enshrined in Pancasila. This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of the Pancasila Dialectic Project model in the character formation of the younger generation, with a particular focus on the realisation of the values of Pancasila through innovative approaches. The methodology employed is a literature review, encompassing an examination of the theoretical foundations of the model and an analysis of empirical data derived from its implementation. The Pancasila Dialectic Project model employs a dialectic approach that engages the younger generation in open discussion through the use of a podcast format, which aligns with their digital lifestyle. The findings demonstrate that this model not only enhances comprehension of Pancasila but also fosters moral development through the cultivation of critical and collaborative dispositions. The results provide substantial evidence that a dialectical approach can be an efficacious strategy in fortifying the values of Pancasila among the younger generation, as well as promoting constructive discourse on national identity in the contemporary global context.


Needs analysis for developing a laboratory manual of Cryptogamic botany to build scientific character on student biology education

The Cryptogamic botany course is supported by practical activities. The laboratory activities involve the observation of the morphology and taxonomy of lower plants. Observational activities focusing on lower plants require precision, creativity, curiosity, and objectivity from each participant. However, the available practical guide does not explicitly address these scientific characteristics. The objective of this research is to gather preliminary information and analyze the need for the development of a Cryptogamic botany practical guide aimed at fostering scientific character among students. This study is descriptive in nature, with data collection conducted through questionnaires and interviews involving 73 students and 4 lecturers responsible for the Lower Plants (Cryptogamic botany) course as respondents. The data were analyzed descriptively based on the percentage of respondent answers for each aspect in question. The results showed that 84.3% of the students strongly agreed, and 15.7% agreed, on the need for a practical guide integrated with scientific character. Furthermore, 58.8% of students preferred that this integration be explicitly presented in the practical guide, while others preferred it to be incorporated in the form of questions. All lecturers agreed on the integration of scientific character in the practical guide, with 25% favoring explicit inclusion, 25% supporting its incorporation through questions, and 50% advocating for it to be framed within a learning model. The development of a Cryptogamic botany practical guide integrating scientific character is deemed essential.Abstrak. Mata kuliah Cryptogamic botany ditunjang oleh kegiatan praktikum. Kegiatan pengamatan dengan objek tumbuhan rendah menuntut ketelitian, kreatifitas, rasa ingin tahu dan objektifitas terhadap data dari setiap praktikan. Panduan praktikum yang tersedia belum memuat secara eksplisit karakter ilmiah yang dimaksud. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengumpulkan informasi awal dan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan untuk pengembangan panduan praktikum Cryptogamic botany dalam rangka membangun karakter ilmiah para praktikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner dan wawancara yang melibatkan 73 mahasiswa dan 4 orang dosen pengampu mata kuliah Tumbuhan Rendah (Cryptogamic botany) sebagai responden. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan penghitungan persentase jawaban responden pada setiap aspek yang dipertanyakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap panduan praktikum yang terintegrasi karakter ilmiah dengan persentase 84,3% sangat setuju dan 15,7% menyatakan setuju. Sebanyak 58,8% mahasiswa menghendaki pengintegrasiannya dipaparkan secara jelas di dalam panduan praktikum, dan yang lainnya menghendaki dituangkan dalam bentuk pertanyaan. Seluruh dosen pengampu mata kuliah menyatakan setuju untuk pengintegrasian karakter ilmiah dalam panduan praktikum secara jelas (25%), 25% menghendaki dituangkan dalam bentuk pertanyaan. dan dikemas dalam suatu model pembelajaran (50%). Panduan praktikum Cryptogamic botany yang mengintegrasikan karakter ilmiah menjadi hal yang penting.
