The background that drives this research is the low character of students' environmental care and the absence of innovative character education at Kalicari 02 State Elementary School. The solution to this problem is the Development of an Outbound-Based Game Model in Environmental Care Character in Fifth Grade Elementary School Students. The problem formulations in this study are 1) How is the validity and feasibility of developing an Outbound-based Game Model in Environmental Care Characters in Grade V Elementary School Students, 2) How is the effectiveness of the Outbound-based Game Model in Environmental Care Character in Primary School Grade V Students in improving students' environmental care character. The objectives of this study are 1) To determine the validity and feasibility of developing an outbound-based game model in the character of environmental care in grade V elementary school students, 2) To determine the effectiveness of the Outbound-based Game Model in Environmental Care Character in Grade V Elementary School Students in improving students' environmental care character. The type of research used in this study is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). The resulting product is an outbound-based game model in the character of environmental care that has been implemented at Kalicari 02 State Elementary School. The Outbound-Based Game Model in Environmental Care Character in Class V Elementary School Students received model validation results of 85% and 95% with "very feasible" criteria and material validation results of 88% and 93% with "very feasible" criteria. The results of the teacher response practicality questionnaire get a percentage of 91% with the criteria "very feasible". The results of the student questionnaire before treatment obtained a percentage of 60% with the criterion "not feasible". Then for the results of the student questionnaire after treatment obtained a percentage of 88% with the criteria "very feasible". It can be concluded that the Development of Outbound-Based Game Models in Environmental Care Characters in Grade V Elementary School Students is valid, feasible to use and can improve the environmental care character of elementary school students. Based on the results of this study, the suggestion that can be provided is that the outbound-based game model in environmental care character can be used as an alternative teacher in improving students' environmental care character.

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah pengaruh bahan ajar berbasis STEAM bermuatan Life skills di SD Negeri Rejosari 01 yang belum menerapkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar yang berbasis STEAM untuk mendukung potensi life skills yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik SDN Rejosari 01 baik generic life skills maupun spesific life skills sehingga pembelajaran kurang mendukung aktivitas peserta didik pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar berbasis STEAM terhadap life skills peserta didik. Rumusan masalah peneliti dirumuskan sebagai berikut: Apakah pengaruh bahan ajar berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematic) untuk meningkatkan life skills peserta didik di kelas III SDN Rejosari 01?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematic) untuk meningkatkan life skills peserta didik di kelas III SDN Rejosari 01. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre Eksperimental Design yaitu bentuk nonquivelent pretest and posttest control group. Hasil penelitian dari pengaruh bahan ajar berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM ntuk meningkatkan life skills peserta didik di kelas III SDN Rejosari 01 pada sesudah perlakuan kelas eksperimen mendapat rata-rata 137,54 dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas kontrol mendapat rata-rata 82,93. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji Paired sample t test, diketahui sig. (2-tailed) sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan eksperimen sebesar .000 < 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan terhadap life skills peserta didik.

ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya life skills peserta didik dalam aspek kecakapan personal yang dilihat dari peserta didik malu, diam saja dan merasa bosan dalam pembelajaran serta kurangnya pengembangan LKPD yang mendukung aktivitas belajar peserta didik dengan berorientasi life skills. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM untuk meningkatkan life skills peserta didik Sekolah Dasar kelas III. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif yang menerapkan Pre Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk nonquivelent pretest and posttest control group. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket/kuesioner, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data uji paired sampel t test pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen diketahui Sig. (2-tailed) .000 < 0.05 yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan penggunaan LKPD berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM. Pada uji independent sampel t test posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh hasil Sig. (2-tailed) .000 < 0.05 yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil life skills peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan LKPD berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM dan kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan LKPD berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM. Angket respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM diperoleh hasil 83.43% dengan kategori sangat mudah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berorientasi life skills berbasis STEAM efektif dalam meningkatkan life skills peserta didik sehingga cocok diterapkan karena dapat meningkatkan life skills peserta didik. Siswa SMP yang sedang mengalami masa pubertas akan berpengaruh pada body image karena adanya perubahan fisik Body image yang dimiliki oleh siswa akan mengarah pada penilaian positif dan negative tentang dirinya. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat body image pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Semarang berjumlah 297 siswa. Teknik pengampilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sejumlah 161 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala body image. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa tingkat body image siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Semarang berada pada kategori sedang sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa mayoritas siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Semarang cukup mampu menilai dirinya dengan positif berkaitan dengan perubahan fisik yang terjadi.

This study aims to determine the effect of a project based learning model based on ethnoscience theme 9 objects around us on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati. This type of research is a quantitative research type of Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati for the academic year 2021/2022 totaling 25 students who were also the research sample. This sampling technique uses the Non Probability Sampling technique with a saturated sampling form. Based on data analysis, there is a difference between the average pretest and post-test learning outcomes. Based on the calculation obtained = 11.7659. While = 2,016. Because (11.7659) > (2,016) then is rejected. In addition, the pre-test learning outcomes obtained an average of 60.2. While the posttest learning outcomes obtained an average of 82.4. This shows an increase in learning outcomes pretest - posttest. So that the ethnoscience-based project-based learning model with the theme of 9 objects around us has an influence in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Ngijo 01 Gunungpati.


Analysis of Understanding and Readiness of Elementary School Teachers on the Implementation of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Approach

The application of integrated thematic learning and scientific approaches to the 2013 curriculum in Indonesian elementary schools can be done using the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach because learning activities in the 2013 curriculum have been developed based on themes, sub-themes and lessons that have been adapted to life and student environment. Of the total respondents in the study, 37.6% understood the STEAM approach well, 40.8% expressed doubt, and 21.6% did not know about it. The results of the interviews with several teachers indicated that STEAM is art-based learning and that the elementary school teachers’ understanding of STEAM is far from its real nature. Based on this, the researchers have used a descriptive–analytical design to analyze the understanding and readiness of elementary school teachers toward the implementation of the STEAM approach in eight districts of Central Java Province. The results showed that teachers did not fully understand the concept or practice of learning using the STEAM approach despite having delivered projects based on STEAM. The authors, therefore, recommend that teachers must pay attention to the readiness and needs of students, and design and prepare STEAM learning tools based on the descriptions of basic competencies and indicators on the themes, sub-themes, and lessons that will be taught to the students. The background that drives this research is the low student learning outcomes. This is because teachers still use conventional methods such as lectures and in learning rarely use media, this causes students to be less active in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Aided by Audio Visual Media and Concrete Objects on Student Learning Outcomes Theme 6 Heat and its Transfer Subtheme 3 Effect of Heat on Life for Grade 5 Students at SDN 6 Bangsri. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of Pre-Experimental Designs with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The samples taken were 28 fifth grade students of SDN 6 Bangsri using the Nonprobability Sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study after receiving treatment showed an increase in student learning outcomes which can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest. The pretest was 57,14286 and the posttest average value was 78,85714. The initial learning mastery was 25% to 91%, so the learning mastery increased. This is evidenced by the obtained tcount of Pretest equal to, tcount = 7.5474 and to find out ttable with a significant t value of 5% obtained ttable of 1.701. So the value of tcount > ttable which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

This research is motivated by the lack of awareness of parents about the importance of providing effective parenting for children, especially for children who are left to wander and to find out how the learning outcomes of children who are left wandering. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a descriptive percentage approach. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sendang Kulon whose parents went abroad and parents or guardians of students who took care of their children at home. Based on data collection using interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, the results showed that there were three parenting patterns applied by parents or guardians to students who were left to wander, including 71.4% of the parenting styles tended to be democratic, 14, 3% of parenting tend to be authoritarian, and 14.3% of parenting tend to be permissive. Students with democratic parenting tend to have good and very good learning outcomes. Students with authoritarian parenting tend to have good learning outcomes. And students with permissive parenting tend to have good learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that giving good parenting to children can make it easier to improve children's learning outcomes.

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of the national anthem as a medium for character education in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used was to analyze the data obtained through documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that through the national song as a medium for character education in schools, it can make the character of students better. This is shown from the results of interviews with teachers and school principals who said that the national song can be used as a medium for character education. This statement was strengthened by the results of the distribution of questionnaires to students which showed that 93% stated that the national anthem could be used as character education. The conclusion of this study is that the national anthem is effective as a medium for character education in elementary schools.
