(Link to this article from this website: https://www.e2.fi/en/news/e2-insights/ukrainians-in-finland-refugee-reception-family-well-being-and-work-life-integration.html ) Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Finland received a record number of refugees. Even so, Finland has been relatively well equipped in providing the necessary services and support for the refugees. However, as the situation in Ukraine remains precarious, many are not able to return. Therefore, long-term integration requires increased attention. This article is based on a study conducted by E2 Research. i The findings are based on the analysis of 26 semi-structured interviews conducted in 2022 with Ukrainians living in Finland and 16 interviews with Finnish professionals working in reception of Ukrainian refugees. The interviewees include Ukrainians receiving temporary protection and Ukrainians who have arrived in Finland prior to the war. We focus on the interviewees' personal experiences and viewpoints as regards the following issues: (1) The functioning of reception services; (2) needs of refugee families, and (3) integration into labour markets. We conclude by highlighting necessities for long term integration.

In this study we refer to 'digital nomads' as people who change their residence regularly and whose work is location independent and takes place in the digital sphere. An interest in digital nomadism has been on the rise during the COVID-19 pandemic. The shift to remote work has also made digital nomadism possible for an increasing amount of people. Digital nomads have been studied extensively. However, only a limited number of studies have been done from the viewpoint of Finland. This report offers unique knowledge about digital nomads' work and choice of a destination country, as these themes have been examined especially from the perspective of Finland.

Katsaus auttaa arvioimaan, mihin Suomessa kannattaa varautua keväällä 2023. Tieto auttaa viranomaisia ja kuntia varautumaan palvelutarpeisiin. Katsauksen lopussa on pohdintaa ja suosituksia tilanteeseen. Katsaus keskittyy Venäjän hyökkäyssodan vuoksi Suomeen paenneisiin ukrainalaisiin. Siinä sivutaan myös maassamme asuvien muiden ukrainalaisten tilannetta. Katsauksen tavoitteena on kuulla ukrainalaisilta, miten he ovat kokeneet Suomeen tulon ja minkälaisia haasteita he ovat tunnistaneet. Katsaus perustuu laadulliseen haastatteluaineistoon ja tilastoaineistoihin. Katsauksen tekemisestä on vastannut E2 Tutkimus, jossa työtä on johtanut väitöskirjatutkija, YTM Eija Eronen. ...
