All the wild and introduced species of Fraxinus in the USSR are critically revised. Keys for determination of species and supraspecific taxa of the genus considered in the paper are given. Photographs of the types of Fraxinus augustifolia, F. oxycarpa, F. pallisae, F. rhynchophylla and F. raibocarpa, as well as distribution maps for the species native to the USSR are presented. -from English summary
