The late-spring fauna of geometrid moths (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) from Kunashir Island is considered for the first time. Thirty-six species are listed, among which one species, Myrioblephara cilicornaria (Püngeler, 1903) is recorded for the fauna of Russia for the first time, and 7 species are newly indicated for the Kuril Islands: Cleora leucophaea (Butler, 1878), Trichopteryx fastuosa Inoue, 1958, Trichopteryx terranea (Butler, 1878), Trichopteryx ussurica (Wehrli, 1927), Esakiopteryx volitans (Butler, 1878), Eupithecia clavifera Inoue, 1955 and Eupithecia daemionata Dietze, 1904.

A new species, Xyrosaris insularis sp. n., was found in the Far East of Russia. Most of the specimens were obtained through the rearing of larvae that fed on Celastrus orbiculatus Thunb. (Celastraceae). The genetic distances between the mtCOI sequences in X. insularis and congeneric species are in the range 1.2–13.9%. Minimal genetic distance (1.2%) was discovered between new species and X. lichneuta Meyrick from Shaanxi (China), which is lower than the standard mtCOI barcoding threshold of 2% for species delineation, but both taxa differ well in the genital morphology. The description of a new species is accompanied by illustrations of variations in the pattern, by the genitalia of both sexes, and by larva on its host plant.

The article considers the history of descriptions and misidentifications in the genus Inurois Butler, 1879 (Lepidoptera: Geometridae). A catalogue of species of the genus with notes, a key to species from I. punctigera and I. tenuis species-group by the wing pattern and by the male genitalia are given. Based on morphological and genetic data a new species, Inurois pseudopunctigera sp. n., is described from the continental East Asia.

New founds of 4 species of East Asian Geometridae: Megabiston plumosaria (Leech, 1891), Photoscotosia lucicolens (Butler, 1878), Callabraxas fabiolaria (Oberthür, 1884), and Dysstroma cinereata (Moore, 1867) in the extreme southwest of the Russian Far East are presented and discussed due to the actual distribution and its current trends. From them Ph. lucicolens is recorded from Russia and China (Jilin) for the first time. Identity of specimens of " Photoscotosia atrostrigata " and " Dysstroma cinereata " in Barcode of Life Database is revised to Ph. lucicolens and Paradysstroma corussaria (Oberthür, 1880) respectively. These founds probably indicate northern expansion of ranges of geometrid moth in accordance with the current climatic trend of global warming. Potential harmfulness of M. plumosaria in RFE is assumed. The validity of Dysstroma cinerea cesa Koçak & Kemal, 2001, as a substitute name for Dysstroma cinereata japonica (Heydemann, 1929) is substantiated.

The Zaranga pannosa species group of the genus Zaranga Moore, 1884 is reviewed and a new species, Zaranga koreana sp. nov. from Korea, is described based on morphology and genetic data. An updated checklist, key, and ecological and distributional notes to the species are provided. Diagnoses and description are given for the described species. A new locality to Zaranga tukuringra Streltzov et Yakovlev, 2007, is given and this species is considered as narrow local endemic of north-west Amur basin, distributed on the huge distance from other Zapanga species.

New contribution into concept of the tribe Deveniliini (Lepidoptera: Geometridae, Ennominae) based on skeleton-muscular anatomy of the male genitalia

Skeleton-muscular anatomy of the male genitalia of Devenilia corearia (Leech, 1891), Synegia ichinosawana (Matsumura, 1925), Platycerota incertaria (Leech, 1891), Lomographa bimaculata (Fabricius, 1775), and Cabera pusaria (Linnaeus, 1758) is described. Probable synapomorphies of Deveniliini, its generic composition and relations to Baptini and Caberini are discussed. Presumably, Deveniliini is separate lineage of ennomies, basal to Baptini and Caberini.

The list of 52 species of geometrid moths (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) of the Baikal region (Irkutskaya oblast and Buryatia, Russia) is given. Rheumaptera neocervinalis Inoue, 1982 is reported as new for Siberia, 3 species are new for Baikal region, 18 species are new for Irkutskaya oblast and 4 species are new for Buryatia; distribution in the Baikal region of 4 species is confirmed; literature reference of 23 species from the region are considered as dubious. As result, total number of geometrids in the Baikal region reaches to 347 species from 153 genera. Genus name Scardostrenia Sterneck, 1928, stat. n., is removed from synonymy with the name Proteostrenia Warren, 1895; original combination of the name Scardostrenia reticulata Sterneck, 1928, comb. resurr. is restored. A key to Ourapteryx ussurica Inoue, 1993 and Ourapteryx sambucaria (Linnaeus, 1758) is given. Accuracy of the original geographic labels of the holotypes of Proteostrenia reticulata transbaicalensis Wehrli, 1939, Erannis bajaria var. transbaikalica Wehrli, 1928, and Nothomiza submediostrigata Wehrli, 1939, had been described from Buryatia and Zabaikalsky krai, is discussed.
