In the modern world, the storage and processing of data with the help of computer technology is of great importance. This is especially true for scientific activities. However, the level of implementation varies greatly from area to area. Specialized software is designed to solve this problem by simplifying the use of computer methods for storing and processing data for specific areas... One of such software systems, which allows to systematize data in the field of plant protection, is considered in the article. The developed specialized software allows you to work with databases in the field of biology. The article presents the program and database structures, their brief characteristics, lists the implemented functions and outlines the ways of further development. The importance of the program for systematization and storage of data in the field of plant protection is determined.

Bulletin of the State Nikitsky Botanical Gardens

Protection of fruit crops from pests is one of the most important tasks of gardening. In turn, the use of protective measures has both positive and negative sides, which makes the issue of improving their effectiveness one of the main ones. Having data on the estimated number of pests and the dates of the beginning of their development phases, it is possible to increase efficiency by choosing the optimal exposure measure and drawing up a more accurate schedule of protective measures. One way to determine such parameters is to use simulation. The article presents one of the approaches to constructing a mathematical model of the insect development process, which is used to build a software simulation model that allows to increase the effectiveness of protective measures of fruit crops. The article describes what is the essence of the modeled process. A mathematical model and methods for determining its parameters are presented. The required initial data for modeling are defined.

Plant Biology and Horticulture theory innovation

The article describes approaches to the study of fruiting cultivars Iris x hybrida hort. of the collection of the Nikitsky Botanical Gardens National Scientific Center of the garden group of high species, on the example of the cultivar 'Sky Hooks', and presents the primary processing of experimental data. The ratio of the average values of potential and actual seed productivity depends on: the number of generative shoots on the plant; the number of "levels" or branches on the generative shoot; the number of flowers and the number of fruits on the generative shoot; the number of fruits at a certain "level" of their location. Actual seed production of cultivars 'Sky Hooks' two times less potential, regardless of the number of generative shoots per plant, "level" location of the fetus, the number of "levels" on generative shoots, number of flowers and fruits on one generative shoots. The highest average values of potential and actual seed productivity correspond to the 3rd and 4th "levels".

Process simulation modeling of phytophagans' influence on the yield of seed fruit crops

December 2019

Plant Biology and Horticulture theory innovation

Simulation modeling of phytophagans’ influence on the yield of seed fruit crops, in particular apple trees, was carried out. By means of simulation models the importance of phytophagans’ influence at different stages of the vegetation period and the period of fruit ripening was revealed. The software package Matlab was used to build simulation models. As a result, simulation models with nonlinear characteristics were obtained, which maximally reflected the studied processes. The developed models imitate the process of phytophagans’ development. Generation change of pests and all stages of their development are simulated. Their respective numbers are recorded at each stage for all generations. The development process at each stage is modeled by separate subsystems of the simulation model. To simulate the development of one generation of pests, these subsystems are connected by external links. In addition, part of the relationships provides a simulation of generational change. There are a number of input parameters that allow to configure the simulation of the process of changing generations, taking into account the peculiarities of the development of various phytophagans.

Bulletin of the State Nikitsky Botanical Gardens

The analysis of methods of mathematical modeling of pome crops on the example of studying 5 varietal samples of pears, taking into account the factors affecting the yielding ability. 15 main factors were considered, such as: maximum, minimum and average temperatures, relative humidity, incidence of chlorosis, drought resistance, morphological characteristics. Mathematical analysis with the construction of mathematical models was carried out using the software package Matlab. As a result, mathematical models characterizing the influence of both individual and multiple factors on the yielding ability of pear cultivars were obtained.
