Attempt has been carried out in the present study to have an assessment on the zoo diversity associated with Bangaram atoll falling in Lakshadweep group of Islands. The study revealed the presence of Mammals, Amphibians, Insects, Reptiles and wide range of Aves in the study area. The study also highlighted the need for conservation of the uninhabited islands for the conservation of zoo diversity.
