This research is motivated by the use of YouTube audio-visual media in improving the ability to write news for Indonesian language learning. Factor This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using YouTube audio-visual media in improving students' ability to write news and find out the challenges and obstacles in using YouTube audio-visual media. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach to collect data and information through the library study method. The results of this study show that the use of YouTube audio-visual media in learning Indonesian has great potential to improve students' news writing skills. The effectiveness of using YouTube as a learning tool can be seen from various aspects, including student involvement, increased understanding of concepts, and practical skills in writing news.

This research aims to analyze the impact of using the TikTok application as a medium for learning Indonesian on increasing student learning motivation. TikTok, as a social media platform that is popular among teenagers, offers various features that can be utilized to create interesting and interactive learning content. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature studies accompanied by case studies. The additional technique for collecting this data uses a questionnaire. Data was collected for analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques. The research results show that using TikTok as a learning medium significantly increases students' learning motivation compared to conventional methods. These findings indicate that the integration of social media technology in the learning process can be an effective strategy for increasing student engagement and motivation in learning Indonesian.

This research aims to determine the application of the discovery learning model assisted by canva media in increasing student motivation in learning to write personal letters. The research method used was a quantitative – experimental approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest-posttest which was tested twice: first before treatment (pretest) and second after treatment (posttest). The sample in this study was 35 class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parongpong for the 2023/2024 academic year who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' motivation in learning to write personal letters by applying the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media, with the average score before treatment being 59.89 and after treatment being 80.00 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media is effective in increasing student motivation in learning to write personal letters.

In the 21st century, humanity entered the industrial era 4.0 and will soon enter the social era 5.0. A simple way to prepare yourself to face these challenges is to change your mindset in learning something. This article will describe the ability to write observation report texts through HOTS-based learning for high school students in Class X SMAS PGRI Cianjur Regency with a population of 30 people. Test sheets and observation sheets are tools used in data collection. Based on the results of data collection and processing, information was obtained that students' ability to write observation report texts increased after participating in lessons that used HOTS compared to those that used LOTS. With the results, the average score of 30 students was 79.2, then all of the 30 students got a score above 70, which means 100% of students were said to have exceeded the KKM.Keywodrs: observation results; High Order Thinking; reportAbstrakPada abad 21 umat manusia memasuki era industry 4.0 dan segera memasuki era sosial 5.0. Cara sederhana untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut adalah dengan mengubah pola pikir dalam belajar sesuatu. Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi melalui pembelajaran berbasis HOTS siswa SMA kelas X. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen one shot case study sebagai desain penelitiannya yang dilakukan di kelas. Kelas X SMAS PGRI Kabupaten Cianjur dengan populasi 30 orang. Lembar tes dan lembar observasi merupakan alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan dan pengolahan data diperolah informasi bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan observasi meningkat setelah mengikuti pembelajaran yang menggunakan HOTS dibanding yang menggunakan LOTS. Dengan hasil nilai rata-rata dari 30 siwa adalah sebesar 79.2 kemudian dari 30 siswa tersebut seluruhnya mendapatkan nilai di atas 70 yang artinya 100% siswa dikatakan sudah melebihi KKM.Kata kunci: hasil observasi; High Order Thinking; laporan


DESAIN BAHAN AJAR E-MODUL MENULIS TEKS DEBAT BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SSCS BERBANTUAN APLIKASI CANVA DAN HEYZINE

This research is motivated by the need for innovative teaching materials for learning to write debate texts. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the SSCS-based (Search. Solve, Create, Share) e-module design with the help of the Canva and Heyzine applications for learning to write debate texts, as well as knowing the feasibility of teaching materials according to the needs of students in the field. SSCS is a problem-solving-oriented learning model. Data was obtained from expert validation sheets, teacher assessment questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The subjects of this study were two expert lecturers, one Indonesian language subject teacher, and 100 class X students as respondents. The result of the acquisition of scores in this study indicates that the e-module for writing debate texts based on SSCS with the help of the Canva and Heyzine applications received a "Very Good" assessment response with a percentage of student responses of 81.34%, expert validation of 91.77%. The product is categorized as better and suitable for use in schools if the percentage score obtained is higher, the better the level of eligibility of teaching materials.

The lack of use of learning media, especially in Indonesian language subjects, causes students to easily get bored in the learning process which results in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the changes obtained from the use of project-based interactive learning media that are effective for use. So that the type of approach used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection in this study was carried out by conducting a pre-test and post-test, with data analysis techniques using N-Gain to measure the increase in process skills during learning. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the criteria for the N-Gain score obtained from the pre-test and post-test Gain scores obtained on average 0.7 in the first interval G≥0.7 = High. So it can be concluded that there is a high increase in skills between the pre-test and post-test. This shows that the use of project-based interactive learning media is successful in maximizing students' ability to develop ideas and compose good and correct opinion articles. So it can be concluded that Project Based Learning-based interactive learning media is in good qualification and is suitable for use as a learning resource for class XII Indonesian subjects.


PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA MATERI TEKS PIDATO PERSUASIF DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA MIND MAPPING

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya masalah siswa dalam menulis teks pidato persuasif. Faktor penyebab masalah tersebut siswa gagal memahami struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks pidato persuasif sebagai dampak dari pemilihan model pembelajaran yang belum inovatif. Dalam penelitian ini menguraikan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks pidato persuasif menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media mind mapping. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan hasil belajar teks pidato persuasif menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning yang dilengkapi dengan mind mapping pada subjek sebanyak 34 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif serta pengumpulan data berdasarkan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran teks bahasa persuasif menggunakan model discovery learning dengan mind mapping berjalan baik di kelas IX G SMPN 1 Margaasih sesuai hasil observasi siswa sebesar 93,7%. Hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor total 85% dengan rincian struktur sebanyak 88%, kaidah kebahasaan 83%, kreativitas 79%, dan presentasi 92%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemilihan model dan media bisa menjadi solusi dari pembelajaran yang belum inovatif.

Student’s weak writing skills in writing activities became the backgroundof this study (Sahmini, etc. 2020, p. 125). One internal factor is lack of motivation for reading and heightened student laziness. The goal in this study is to see the result of students’ learning with canva using the discovery learning model in the skill of textual fantasy stories. Qualitative descriptive is the method employed in this study. Writing a fantasy text test became the key to a data gathering technique. The study was followed by 15 students VII a country junior high school teacher Cikalong 1 teacher’s grade 9’ and an average of90’s scored by three students, 83 marks made by four students, and an average of 75 students. Research revealed that the canva application for the skill of writing a fantasy text using the discovery learning model gets “very well” on the predicate.

This research is motivated by the need for learning in discourse studies courses. The purpose of this study was to design a learning model that supports the process of obtaining course learning outcomes that are oriented to the needs of students in the field, as well as to describe the results of model validation and Student Worksheets (SW). The research method used is development research with a 4-D design. Data collection techniques were carried out through document studies, observation, focus group discussions and distributing questionnaires. The model design product was validated by three validators from the fields of learning, IT, and lecturers of discourse studies. SW products are validated by three lecturers and four users from students. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results obtained, the OBS Studio-assisted project model in discourse studies courses orientated on Pancasila student profiles is suitable for use in learning with the model validation results being in the "very valid" criteria with a value of 92%, the SW validation results are in the "valid" criteria with a value of 72 %, and practicality results according to users are in the "high" criteria with a value of 71%.
