Sometimes in occasion of an atmospheric disturbance, we can see, near the Sun, arcs or colored halos, caused by white light's reflection or refraction on ice crystals present in height. They are very widespread in polar areas, but may show themselves at our latitudes too. Since 200 years of studies, it has been possible to have a complete explanation of halo's phenomenology.
