The main objectives of using renewable energy enables us to attain sustainable growth without compromising the future. India is on the 7th nation in generating renewable energy while USA, China and Germany is on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. Secondly, in case of Solar energy, the statistics are: India is on the 7th nation in generating solar energy while China, Japan, and Germany is on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively, Generating 9, 78, 42.8 and 41.2 (GW) gigawatts from sun power. India having great opportunities in generating solar power because of its location and the availability of large unused land banks throughout the nation. The purpose of the paper is to examine the challenges to the adoption of solar energy as a means of generation of energy and power for the nation's requirement. The methodology adopted for the study is to identify the hurdles/factors limiting the use of solar energy as an alternate source of energy production for the nation from the existing literature review and group discussions with the industry professional and prioritize them using relative importance index and additional tools. The hurdles/factors identified for the study is 16 and a targeted data collection of 105 for the study using convenient sampling technique throughout India. The research finding shall contribute to the existing body of knowledge and provide suggestions to the policy makers, the manufactures and the local bodies working on ground to implement the solar energy as an alternate energy resource to fossil fuels in India.

The purpose of the study is to understand and identify the current courses on sustainability in construction in leading universities in India. The study is conducted on pan India basis and different courses have been compared and results were drawn. The research is conducted using a structured questionnaire survey from the respondents through all over India. Keeping in mind the end goal to evaluate the heartiness of the course educational programs at School of civil engineering K R Mangalam University, a correlation was led with establishment’s offering comparable projects. The findings of the study conclude that the curriculum at School of civil engineering K R Mangalam University is effective in imparting sustainability concepts in the built environment domain. The students who have progressed towards the end of the course appeared to have achieved a good level of understanding of both the general and specific aspects of sustainability and its applications to the built environment. With expanding the effect of human survival on condition and unending civil argument of our duty towards who and what is to come, sustainability has made some amazing progress.

... It can be demonstrated from Refs. [99,100] that low awareness about the growing demand for renewable energy sources is a major challenge. Limited availability of resources is another challenge facing SETechTra training for SE skills gap tackling. ...

... These issues significantly reduce performance and are easily addressed by using the basic data management, access, and exchange capabilities of the PDM. Only 8% of companies that do not use PDM say that this is because they do not have any problems related to data management ( Figure 4) [36][37][38][39][40]. Reasons for not using PDM [24] PDM systems in BIM can be roughly divided into two categories: the first is data storage and management services in the cloud (for example: Autodesk BIM 360, Trimble Connect, VitroPark) and the second is an engineering data management system (Autodesk Vault, Pilot-BIM, Vitro-CAD, ProjectWice, etc.) ...
