... Similarly, Hamermesh (1992) provides advice to the young economist on professional etiquette that can be generally viewed as good career advice. There also exists advice for specific sub-groups within economics, from women (Hamermesh 2005), individuals looking for teaching positions (Owens 2008), and even Austrian economists interested in liberal arts college jobs (Horwitz 2011).
