These findings are in line with the WHO newsletter that indicated that the number of people developing TB and dying from the disease could be much higher in 2021 and 2022 mainly because of the COVID-19 pandemic [65] and since this was based on the general population, it is concerning that the same trend is witnessed among children below 15 years.
