Study on Pivotal Factors to Breaking Torque of Hydrodynamic Retarder

Hydrodynamic retarder is a kind of auxiliary brake apparatus applied in transport vehicles. The size of brake torque is the key factor of the working effect of hydrodynamic retarder. When the operating pressure which controls system loading is certain, the key factor effecting hydrodynamic retarder's braking torque is the geometric parameter of stator and rotor impellor. Therefore, based on exact full-port modeling, conduct numerical simulations of flow field inside hydrodynamic retarder in different geometrical parameters by CFD, analyze the pressure and speed distribution, braking torque in work chamber with different geometric parameter. Finally, the relation between geometric parameter and braking torque, which can provide a theoretical reference for the design of hydrodynamic retarder, is summarized.


Numerical Simulation of Air Gap Magnetic Field of Eddy-current Retarder

The magnetic field intensity of eddy current retarder air-gap is is one of important factors of influence braking effect, this paper constructs electrify magnetic solenoid, mathematical model and the air-gap magnetic field shape distribution in two cases of iron with magnetic yoke and without magnetic yoke is simulated by using Maxwell software according to the working principle of eddy-current retarder, the results indicate that the yokes play a magnetizing part and make magnetic distribute function again, it makes air-gap magnetic field distribution more uniform, but the magnetic field intensity of air-gap is more small


Bench Test of Hot Declining on Eddy Current Retarder

Braking torque is influenced by parameters of eddy current retarder, changes value of current and temperature and braking torque were determined through hot declining tests of B5-12 and M5-19 eddy current retarder, Got curves on temperature, current and braking torque with time changing. These curves show that braking torque is not proportional to rotational speed. System will keep hot equilibrium with braking torque declining to some certain value, The smaller air gap and the higher speed, the more obvious hot declining. Above results may provide some reference for the establishment of retarder braking torque's computational formula and hot decline theory

Research on influence factor of braking torque of one kind of eddy current retarder under existing magnetic yoke effect. One hundred ninety-six simulations were carried out which seven air gap parameters, four coil parameters, seven current parameters were taken for simulating by using Maxwell software according to physical structure parameter of eddy current retarder under existing magnetic yoke effect. Effect relationships that current, air gap and coil number of windings to braking torque were obtained through regression analysis to data of having been obtained by using SPSS software, providing concise and reliable analysis and computational method for analyzing retarderpsilas structure and developing new product.

A kind of self-adaptive control system for grain dryer was developed based on grain deep-bed drying process analytical theory and precise detection technology of high-moisture-content grain. It can change the system automatically to ensure the optimization of working conditions according to real-time input moisture content and output status. The control system was reliable, stable, accurate, and practical in industrial application.

In the traditional control system of dryers, it's considered that the drying process is inertial, that means the parameters are thought as stationary but in fact they are realtime variable. It results that the control accuracy can't match the real dynamic process. In this paper, the time sequence method was adopted to analyze the input construction of control system and the parameter transfer process and set up a model with real-time dynamic data.
