The paper listed 12 species of the genus Ceresium belonging to the tribe Callidiopini from Vietnam. Of the total 12 species, there are 4 species additional recorded for Vietnam’s fauna, viz. Ceresium furtivum Pascoe, 1869; Ceresium nilgiriense Gahan, 1906; Ceresium quadrimaculatum Gahan, 1900; Ceresium rouyeri Pic, 1943. Descriptions of four newly recorded species and a key to species of the genus Ceresium from Vietnam were provided. Notes on the distribution of all species occurring in Vietnam are also given.

A list of 23 species belonging to 15 genera of subfamily Cetoniinae is reported from Phia Oac-Phia Den National Park, Cao Bang Province. Of which, eight genera and eleven species are recorded for the first time from this National Park. In addition, the global and domestic distributions of all recognized species are given.

The genus Leptophion is recorded for the first time from Vietnam, including new records of three species, viz. L. giganteus Shimizu & Watanabe, L. maculipennis (Cameron) and L. radiatus (Uchida), for the country. The comparative morphological and pictorial characters of Vietnamese specimens were given. In addition, variations and in-country distribution of newly recorded species were also provided.

The genus Brulleia Szépligeti, 1904 was recorded for the first time in Vietnam, three new species, namely Brulleia flavosoma Long, sp. n.; B. mellicrus Long, sp. n. and B. nigrisoma Long, sp. n., were descripbed and illustrated. A key to Brulleia species from Vietnam is provided. The checklist of the already known species of the genus Brulleia is also given.

This paper presented a checklist of twenty eight species of the genus Demonax Chevrolat from Vietnam, of those thirteen species are newly recorded for the Vietnam’s fauna, viz. Demonax alcanor Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax gracilestriatus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax izumii Mitono, 1942; Demonax kheoi Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax literatus literatus Gahan, 1894; Demonax literatus nansenensis Pic, 1903; Demonax mali Gressitt, 1951; Demonax mulio Pascoe, 1869; Demonax nebulosus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax ordinatus Pascoe, 1869; Demonax pseudonotabilis Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax occultus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Demonax pseudotristiculus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970. Regarding the distribution of species, twenty eight species are restrictively recorded in the oriental region, and other three species are recorded from Vietnam only. Of the total already known twenty eight Demonax species from Vietnam, three species that were originally described from specimens collected from Vietnam, are currently known only from their type localities, seven species are widely distributed in the country, sixteen species are recorded in northern Vietnam and five species are known from central region and southern Vietnam.

New records of the tribe Cerambycini (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) from Vietnam

The paper listed 50 species of 18 genera belonging to the tribe Cerambycini from Vietnam, of the total 50 species there are five species newly recorded for the Vietnam’s fauna, viz. Aeolesthes (Pseudaeolesthes) pericalles Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 and one species of the genus Aeolesthes s.s. are Aeolesthes sinensis Gahan, 1890; Derolus ornatus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Dymasius maculatus Gressitt & Rondon, 1970; Massicus raddei (Blessig, 1872). Diagnosis of all genera are presented with notes on distribution. An illustrated key to 18 genera of the tribe Cerambycini is also provided.

Most species of the longhorned beetles are known to damage living trees and attack dead trees or fallen logs and are of economic importance because their wood­boring larvae are destructive to plants and freshly cut logs. The paper presented a checlist of publising species of Vietnam longhorn beetle fauna of the subfamily Cerambycinae with local and world distribution provided. Of the total of 259 cerambycid species belonging to 88 genera and 18 tribes, seven diverse tribes are Clytini (74 species), Callichromini (41 species), Cerambycini (35 species), Molorchini (19 species), Callidiopini (18 species), Methiini (13 species) and Cleomenini (11 species).
