In this study, high school teachers’ utilization level and opinions on the education information technologies network (EBA) project was researched in schools where interactive boards came into service as part of the FATIH (Movement of Enhancing Opportunities and Improving Technology) Project. The purpose of the study is by determining how, how often and for what purpose is the platform, which became available to students and teachers in 2012, utilized by teachers; bringing forward proposals by addressing opinions of teachers for the NEW EBA version introduced in October 2015 and future editions of the platform. For this purpose; a 15-item open-ended questionnaire finalized by expert opinions was given to teachers serving in Anadolu and vocational high schools in 10 different cities to collect their opinions and experiences on EBA. Along with open-ended questions, a selected teacher from each school was interviewed for further detailed information either face to face or using telephone or internet. Information gathered are presented in charts. More than half of the participants stated that they do not use EBA, accusing internet connection failures. The ones’ using stated that they spare 10-15 minutes for the content during class and they use it for reinforcement or visualization purposes. Research findings suggest that the content shared by the platform should be updated continuously and informative seminars for all teachers and students should be arranged across the country.
