The presence of serpentinites (rather than primary ultramafic rock) is consistent with data on the present-day Atlantic hydrothermal sulfide fields associated with ultramafic rocks (Fouquet et al., 2010). In these settings, unal-@ tered ultramafic rocks are extremely rare, in contrast to their numerous serpentinized varieties, talc-carbonate rocks, and even talcites (Marques et al., 2006(Marques et al., , 2007Dias et al., 2010;Pertsev et al., 2012). These data allow us to assert that the studied clastic ores of the Ishkinino deposit are products of erosion of primary hydrothermal ores and serpentinized ultramafic rocks. ...
