Rediscovery of the Woodland Brown, Lopinga achine (Scopoli, 1763) (Lepidoptera Nymphalidae Satyrinae), in the département of Indre-et-Loire (37) (France). During surveys undertaken in relation to the CarNET-B programme (mapping of noteworthy species) in the Centre region, three localities for the Woodland Brown, Lopinga achine (Scopoli, 1763), have been discovered in the Indre-et-Loire. These are in the communes of Bléré and Athée-sur-Cher in the Cher valley to the east of Tours, together with the commune of Ferrière-Larçon in the Brignon valley in the south of the Touraine. More than thirty years after the last recorded sighting for the Indre-et-Loire in 1978, ten individuals were noted along paths and edges of calcareous woodland.
