... The majority of Danish publications from 2009 focused on policy issues. Senior researchers from RUC and UCPH produced conceptual papers focused on the relationship between globalization, English, and language policies at universities (Haberland, 2009), analysis and implementation of the policy of parallel language use (Harder, 2009;Staehr, 2009), and arguments against the concept of domain loss in Danish HE (Preisler, 2009) (for details, see Chapter 3). In his 2009 article, Preisler presented new terminology, i.e., "complementary languages" (komplementaer sproglighed) and argued that this term, by definition, does not present a hierarchical relationship between Danish and English. ...
