This paper examines some personality factors of parents and their relationship to anxiety levels of their children from the theory of Transactional Analysis. The sample consists of 72 pairs of parents with children between 6 and 14 years old. There are two different groups: one group with 36 non clinical couples of parents and a clinical group of 36 couples whose children are in psychotherapy. The parents are given the Cuestionario de Autoevaluación AT-2 and the personality questionnaire EPQ-R, and children the Child Anxiety Questionnaire CAS and STAIC depending on the age. We have studied the differences in the results and have become regression analysis. It defines three hypotheses: 1st) The scores of the children in the nonclinical differ in anxiety scores of children in the clinical group; 2nd) The profile of the parents group nonclinical differ from that of the parents of the clinical group; 3rd) Relationship exists between the child´s anxiety and personality of their parents.
