ETHICOMP 2011 explores the huge range of impacts of advances in social computing on us all. In this way there is an opportunity to raise new issues as well as revisit existing issues but with fresh insight. The conference contributes to the development of a social computing agenda that will help to ensure this applied technology is beneficial to us all.
