Young adulthood is a stage of life characterized by significant personal growth and professional development. Personality is the dynamic organization within the individual of those psychophysical systems that determine his characteristics behaviour and thought, personality dimensions are extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience. Trust is the state involving confident positive expectations about another's motives regarding oneself in situations of risk. Attachment is the deep emotional connection between two people, the dimensions of attachment are close, depend and anxiety. The objectives of the study were to examine the connection between personality, trust and attachment among young adults. 200 young adults of age 18-25 made up the sample, which included both males and females. Short version of the Big Five Inventory (BFI‐10), Trust in Close Relationships Scale and Revised Adult Attachment Scale (RAAS) were the instruments employed. The data was examined using the Spearman's correlation test. According to the study, there is no significant correlation between personality dimensions and trust in romantic relationship. And there exists a positive correlation between personality factor extroversion and attachment subscale close and there exist a negative correlation between personality factor neuroticism and attachment subscale close. And there exist a positive correlation between personality factors extroversion and agreeableness with attachment subscale depend, also there exist a negative correlation between personality factor neuroticism and attachment subscale depend. And also there exist a positive correlation between the personality factor depend and trust.

Spiritual Intelligence and Subjective Vitality Among Young Adults and Old Ages

The presented study examined the difference between spiritual intelligence and subjective vitality among young adults and old ages. The sample for the present study consisted of 60 young adults and 60 old ages (including males and females) using descriptive sampling method. The tools used for the study are spiritual intelligence scale, subjective vitality scale and socio-demographic questionnaire. The collected data were analysed using appropriate statistical techniques and frequencies. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and subjective vitality and a significant difference between both variables among young adults and old ages.

Emotion regulation is the ability to exert control over one’s own emotional state. It may involve behaviors such as rethinking a challenging situation to reduce anger or anxiety, hiding visible signs of sadness or fear, or focusing on reasons to feel happy or calm. Social reticence is expressed as shy, anxiously avoidant behavior in early childhood. With development, overt signs of social reticence may diminish but could still manifest themselves in neural responses to peers. The purpose of the study was to analyse the relationship between Emotion regulation and Social reticence among emerging adults . The sample consisted of 60 college students of age range 18-25, out of which 30 were Males and 30 were Females. The tools used were Emotion regulations questionnaire (ERQ) and Social reticence scale (SRS). The statistical analysis was done using SPSS software. The major findings from the study is emotion regulation and social reticence are negatively correlated.
