Background: Menstrual pain is pain felt in the lower abdomen during menstruation. This pain can be cramped and last for a long time, interfering with everyday activities. Treatment in adolescents given during menstrual pain can be pharmacological or non-pharmacological. One of the non-pharmacological treatments commonly used is the Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) corset therapy using electrical currents through the skin that serves to lower the scale of menstrual pain. This study aimed to find out the impact of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation Corset Therapy on Menstrual Pain in Teenagers. Methods: This research was a quantitative research using experimental Quasi Two Group Pre-Posttest design. This study conducted toward adolescents in Bandung District area, West Java with a sample of 50 respondents, the girls were divided into two groups namely intervention and control groups with 25 respondents for easy group. The intervention was carried out for 3 days with 15 minutes of therapy a day. Sampling techniques used a purposive sampling and for data compilation used the questionnaires and a checklists characteristic menstrual pain form. Results: The age of respondents were <17 years old (38%) and >17 years old (62%), they were in Senior High School (84%) and in Junior High School (16%), age of menarche <12 years old (42%) and >12 years old (58%). The Bivariat analysis on Impact of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation Corset Intervention Therapy toward Menstrual Pain in Adolescents using the Wilcoxon test showed p value 0.000 (significance < 0.05), and the Mann-Withney test with p value 0.000 (< 0.05) which means there was a significant difference between the intervention group and the control group, and also ANCOVA test results showed p value 0.000. Conclusion: The conclusion of the study showed that there was an effect of the Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation Corset therapy intervention toward Menstrual Pain in adolescents. Pendahuluan: Kasus Covid-19 meningkat pada usia muda karena enggan beradaptasi dengan new normal. Kasus pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada semua aspek kehidupan masyarakat termasuk pendidikan kesehatan. Media audiovisual merupakan salah satu alat untuk menyampaikan informasi secara lebih efektif. Animasi, gambar, suara menarik untuk menyerang generasi milenial sehingga akan menambah pengetahuan dan perilaku. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui efektivitas audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku Covid-19 di kalangan remaja. Metode: Merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen one group Pre-Posttest Design yang dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Indonesia. Metode convenience sampling diterapkan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 12 dalam pengetahuan dan 20 dalam praktik. Intervensi disampaikan dalam 4 hari dengan 35 menit setiap sesi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan uji t sampel berpasangan. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden berusia 16 tahun, berjenis kelamin perempuan, dan seluruh responden kelas XI. Pengetahuan dan perilaku sebelum intervensi meningkat berubah setelah intervensi. Semua domain dalam variabel pengetahuan meningkat. Hasil yang signifikan secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pencegahan praktik. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh media audiovisual terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 pada remaja. Tenaga kesehatan dapat menggunakan media audiovisual kepada remaja sehingga informasi yang disampaikan lebih efektif dan mudah dipahami.

Pendahuluan: Anak usia sekolah sangat sensitif terhadap stimulus sehingga pada usia ini mudah diberikan bimbingan dan dibiasakan dengan perilaku hidup sehat. Rendahnya kesadaran dan kurangnya pengetahuan menyebabkan cuci tangan yang tidak benar banyak ditemukan pada anak-anak. Storytelling merupakan salah satu metode untuk menyampaikan pendidikan kesehatan dan mengembangkan aspek kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (perasaan), sosial dan konatif (penghargaan) pada anak. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas mendongeng terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap cuci tangan pada anak usia sekolah. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-Posttest Design, dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Responden setuju untuk berpartisipasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa data demografi, angket yang diisi sendiri terkait pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan dengan reliabilitas baik Cronbach's alpha > 0.881 (pengetahuan) dan > 0.925 (sikap). Analisis data menggunakan SPSS Versi 23 pada rumus univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh mendongeng yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada anak usia sekolah dengan nilai P 0,000 (< 0,05). Kesimpulan: Selama pandemi Covid-19 pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap cuci tangan sangat penting. Pendidikan melalui berbagai media terdapat di tempat-tempat umum, televisi, media sosial dan lain-lain. Namun, perlu pendekatan khusus untuk anak usia sekolah sebagai populasi rentan karena prevalensi Covid-19 ini relatif tinggi

Pendahuluan: Mucositis oral merupakan efek samping kemoterapi yang sering terjadi dan menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman, nyeri dan kurangnya asupan nutrisi. Pencegahan dan pengobatan mukositis oral sangat penting dengan menyikat gigi dan berkumur. Salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk berkumur adalah madu. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh perawatan mulut dengan madu terhadap mukositis oral pada anak dengan kemoterapi. Metode: merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental design pre and post test one group, dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2022. Jumlah adalah 30. Kriteria inklusi adalah anak usia 4-18 tahun, baik kondisi umum dan menerima kemoterapi mukotoksik tinggi. Anak-anak melakukan perawatan mulut selama 4 hari, menyikat gigi dua kali sehari dan berkumur dengan madu tiga kali sehari. Hasil: Terjadi penurunan skor mukositis oral sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada domain nyeri (0,30±0,47 menjadi 0,20±0,74), fungsi (0,63±1,22 menjadi 0,13±0,35), dan penampilan (0,20±0,41 hingga 0,07±0,25). Berdasarkan uji Paired Sample T-test terdapat perbedaan bermakna domain fungsi (p < 0,05) dan skor rata-rata mukositis oral (t = 2,36, p < 0,05) Kesimpulan: Perawatan mulut dengan madu efektif menurunkan mukositis oral pada anak menerima kemoterapi. Perawat dapat menerapkan perawatan mulut menggunakan madu secara teratur pada anak kanker yang sedang menjalani kemoterapi untuk meminimalkan mukositis oral

During the COVID-19 pandemic, good knowledge and attitude towards handwashing are essential. Education through various media is found in public places, television, social media and others. However, a specific approach is needed for children of school age as a vulnerable population, since the prevalence of COVID-19 is relatively high in this group. Storytelling is a method to deliver health education and develop cognitive (knowledge), affective (feelings), social and conative aspects in children. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of storytelling in improving handwashing knowledge and attitudes among school-age children. This research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, and it was conducted in April-May 2021. A total of 40 respondents participated. Data were collected using a self-filled questionnaire related to handwashing knowledge and attitude with good reliability (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.881 [knowledge] and > 0925 [attitude]). Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 23 for univariate and bivariate formulas. Storytelling had a significant impact on knowledge and attitudes in the school-age children (p < 0.001). My Hero is You: Intervention to Reduce Anxiety and Depression in Children During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

The current Covid-19 pandemic has been very influential in all aspects of life, and not only adults but also children are victims. The prolonged school closures and social restrictions during this pandemic have had negative impacts on children’s physical and mental health. The World Health Organization recommends storytelling to deal with psychological and mental health issues in children due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Storytelling helps children understand the current situation and gives them confidence that they can get through this difficult time. The purpose of this study was to determine how the storytelling method with the pomodoro technique can affect the psychological status of school-age children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental, two groups, pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted on 6-9 April 2021 at SD Negeri in Bandung, and 40 respondents were recruited using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using the CDI and CAQ questionnaires. The results of the study indicated that there was no significant difference in the level of depression (p = 0.277) or anxiety (p = 0.103) between the intervention group and control group. Storytelling with the pomodoro technique did not have a significant effect, even though it can reduce levels of depression and anxiety. The existence of a breeding place have threefold greater risk to the DHF incidence. The participation of mosquito monitoring interpreters (JUMANTIK) by using an Android-based smartphone application functions play significant role to inform the location of interactive breeding places with the latest data updates. Aim of this study to analyze the use of mobile technology applications in the detection of dengue breeding places with the PRISMA method approach. Method used in this study is s a literature review . Database used Google Scholar, Pubmed and Proquest. The keywords used are the combination "mobile technology application", "breeding place", "dengue". Inclusion criteria are articles published in 2016- 2020, using English or Indonesian and have full text. The advantages of the android application are very effective, low cost in controlling mosquito larvae, recent monitor, record and track the location of the existence of breeding places. The innovation are needed to design android specifications that are more organized in data collection of respondents to facilitate Jumantik's work in determining the breeding place coordinator.

The volume of hospitalized pre-school children has increased in recent years. More than 30% children have experienced hospital treatment and 5% have been treated several times in the hospital. They will undergo painful procedures with physical and psychological impacts. Various technological approaches to pain management have been developed, including the use of virtual reality therapy to reduce pain in pediatric patients. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review to the impact of using Virtual Reality (VR) on pain level among children undergoing invasive procedures. Anxiety is one of the common psychological symptoms experienced by children while being treated in the hospital and can cause impairment in growth and development. Hospitalization is considered threatening and has traumatic effects, which can be mitigated using various therapies. Storytelling is one of the therapeutic intervention methods. The purpose of this literature review is to explore the effectiveness of storytelling among preschool children who undergo hospitalization. Literature research conducted on the five largest databases consists of PubMed, Google Scholar, CINAHL, Medline, and PsycINFO using keywords, “Story Telling,” “Hospitalization,” “Anxiety Level,” “Preschool,” and “Story Telling and Hospitalization.” The combination of keywords searches to find more specific literature. We found 25 articles, and five articles are analyzed further. Storytelling is proven effective for reducing the impact of hospitalization, especially anxiety levels for preschool children. It provides a distraction effect and opportunity to develop imagination, opening children mind it and perception or feelings of fear. It is suggested that healthcare professionals implement this intervention to minimize the physical and psychological effects of hospitalization. Factors Associated with the Implementation of Patient Safety at X Hospital, Karawang, Indonesia

Patient safety is a significant global health problem and a top priority for incidents prevention. Data revealed that the patient safety goals’ average implementation was only 33.5%, far away from the 100% target. The compliance of hand hygiene among nurses, meanwhile, was only 28.6%. This study aims to analyze factors associated with the implementation of patient safety goals among nurses at X Hospital Karawang. A cross-sectional approach with a simple random sampling technique was implemented in this study. A total of 117 nurses in the inpatient room were recruited in this study. A significant relationship showed knowledge, supervision, motivation, and the implementation of patient safety goals (p-value < 0.05). Supervision from the head nurse is the most associated factor. By improving the quality of Supervision, will influence the application of patient safety goals; therefore, that a patient safety culture is created and achieved well. recommend to define clearly the significant of patient safety and what kind of indicators we can use to measure this? and evaluate qualitatively (not using percetange) to indicate the extent to which patient safety is applied.
