Aging, it is a physiological process that involves a progressive decline in the function of the organs, with loss of homeostasis and increased likelihood of disease disease and death. This account focuses on the classic perspectives on the biogenesis of exosomes, and age-related associated changes. Due to its ability to transmit biological information between cells, this work also discusses the interaction of mesenchymal cell exosomes, as a potent adjuvant in the treatment of association of orofacial harmonization techniques. The demand for aesthetic and rejuvenating treatments is increasing in society, thus, each day, the demand for orofacial harmonization increases exponentially in order to slow aging. Orofacial harmonization is a set of procedures performed by the dentist, which aims at the aesthetic and functional balance of the face. Exosomes are membranous extracellular vesicles ranging from 30 to 200 nm in diameter. Exosomes has been found to be secreted by most cell types, including immune cells (B cells, T cells, mastocytes, dendritic cells), neuronal cells, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, embryonic cells, cancer cells and cells mesenchymal trunk (mscs). The search for youth and perfect skin is a natural desire for the human being. And in this way, collagen biostimulation stands out as a safe and effective option to rejuvenate the skin, fighting the signs of aging and promoting a firmer, toned and radiant appearance. Research in exosomes therapies continues to prosper. Subsequent data on indications, dose response, safety, effectiveness and ability to combine therapy with exosomes as a “skin primer” for biostimulation techniques, such as calcium hydroxylapatite (CAHA), platelet rich plaketers (PRP) and fibrin matrix Platelet plasma, (PRFM) is growing rapidly.

Ozone therapy is considered a complementary therapy that uses ozone gas as a therapeutic agent. It is a procedure that has been shown to be effective in several pathologies, and currently much explored for aesthetic dysfunctions. In recent years, the search for excellence in beauty standards, and aesthetic fashions increasingly lasting and safe is a constant. Numerous procedures are considered to reduce the double chin, but it is extremely important that the performing professional is attentive to the patient’s conditions and chooses the ideal treatment and is able to apply the appropriate technique, so that there is personal satisfaction and clinical success. With the growth in the interest of harmonization and orofacial therapy, ozone treatments have been standing out, and the same, proved to be a great lipolytic agent, reducing adiposity with few applications and without side effects. However, further studies on ozone therapy and treatment of adiposity are needed to establish optimal protocols and concentrations and frequency of ozone application in order to ensure better results for the treatment of this aesthetic dysfunction.

The demand for aesthetic and rejuvenating treatments is increasing in society, with that the demand for orofacial harmonization increases exponentially every day. Orofacial harmonization is a set of procedures performed by the Dentist / Dental Surgeon, which aims at the aesthetic and functional balance of the face. Steroid hormones are of great importance in aging due to the decrease of some during this process. However, poor diet including sugar consumption, changes in the sleep cycle, alcohol use, tobacco, lack of exercise and excessive exposure to UV rays also contribute to aging. We present the case of a female patient, 47 years old, who had failures in her menstrual cycle for more than 6 months, and the presence of melasma. Laboratory tests revealed changes in her hormone and vitamin levels, the clinical examination reported dry skin with blemishes, and she also reported excessive fatigue. In order to stabilize melasma and improve the appearance of the skin and obtain a better result in orofacial harmonization, bioidentical steroid hormone replacement therapy and vitamin supplementation were performed. Within 3 months of starting therapy with testosterone, progesterone, melatonin, vitamin D, and supplementation with nutraceuticals, it was observed that during treatment the patient showed a change in the appearance of her skin. The results show that in order to obtain a good response to the orofacilli harmonization treatment, it is extremely important to have a correct homeostasis.

... The intrinsic process of aging is characterized by a decrease in skin collagen, a decrease in elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA), which generates reduced thickening of the skin and loss of elasticity [2]. ...
