Automated control system of the processes of flotation and dewatering of flotational concentrate was developed. Subsystems of automatic control serve as independent moduli, they are: flotation control, dewatering in disk vacuum-filters, preparation of flocculant solution and its introduction into filtration process, autodiagnosis. Serviceability of the control system and interaction of its separate moduli were ascertained by tests, the basic characteristics of flocculation control modulus were determined. Block diagram of the automatic control system of flotation and filtration processes is presented.

The purpose of automatic control of processes of slime water thickening and flotation rejects clarification is to stabilize solids content in effluent at permissible level and to maintain density of thickened product in preset range under minimum flocculant consumption. The principle of automatic control system construction is to compensate the main disturbing action on loading at flocculant consumption variation. Flexible variation of process control program has been provided for. Variance of thickened product has 11 times decreased, solids content has decreased by 12%.
