During the period June 1990-August 1991, a web of cooperative relations was created between Russia and the rest of the Soviet republics. This was done by way of implementing the Russian Republic's policy of inter-republican cooperation which Russia had initiated immediately after a Russian government began to take shape in June 1990. This article examines the treaties on the bases of inter-state relations between Russia and the republics. Needless to say, these treaties constituted the most important segment of the cooperative interactions that took place between Russia (the RSFSR) and the other union republics. -from Author
