The productive method in weaving factories has been changing from mass production to small scale production of various kind of textile fabrics. To keep high productivity, new production management system suitable for weaving factories has been much desired. In this paper, introducing the Nissan LAN System, one of the most widespread LAN system in Japanese textile industry, we consider the essentials of the management system for weaving factories.
