ABSTRACT: This paper tries to analyse a new framework in lossless data hiding research. Its key is how adaptively to get better difference image architectures for given applications. A unique sampled pattern is introduced and described in term of high-similar interpolation image. The proposed method updates a type of conventional algorithm, smoothly accesses to current reconstruction implementation, and outperforms solo weighing approach, particularly in the perceptual quality. Combinational weight factor can be adaptively adjusted by estimating interpolation errors around neighbor pixels. Seeking higher peak value in the difference-image is also our concerns. As an entire algorithm, reversible data hiding based on histogram-difference-shift is also reported. Simulations results demonstrate and verify that our approach is much effective than some recent methods with good generalization performance.

ABSTRACT: A novel anti-ESD TGFPTD (Trench Gate and Field Plate and Trench Drain) SOI LDMOS was proposed firstly for improve ESD robustness of TGFPTD SOI LDMOS in this paper. The proposed device was obtained by introducing an additional n+ implantation and rapid thermal annealing into the widen p-well region of conventional TGFPTD SOI LDMOS. 2D simulation of the proposed device upon a negative current pulse stimulus of HBM indicates that a hybrid conduction mechanism of parasitic diodes, BJTs, SCR, resistors, capacitors and Schottky diode exists during ESD period. Moreover, the gate voltage is clamped below 11% of the breakdown voltage of gate oxide and the induced gate charges are released in a very short time at about 1.0μs. Therefore, the proposed anti-ESD TGFPTD SOI LDMOS is featured of very high negative ESD robustness.

ABSTRACT: A novel SOI LDMOS with Double Trench Gate (DTG) is proposed. The DTG SOI LDMOS is obtained by introducing an additional trench gate between P-well region and N-drift region, which can form one more n-channel in on-state. The parameters of DTG SOI LDMOS were optimized to some extend through 2D device simulations and some main electronic properties were obtained through 2D device simulation with Silvaco TCAD and analyzed. The simulation results indicate that the proposed DTG SOI LDMS is featured of lower on-resistance, higher transconductance and higher handle capability of current than those of conventional STG SOI LDMOS. The on-resistance is decreased due to enhancement of electron injection into n-drift region of DTG SOI LDMOS, which further boosts the conductivity modulation effect. Moreover, to increase the thickness of the bottom-wall and sidewall oxide of the additional trench gate can improve the breakdown voltage of the proposed DTG SOI LDMOS in off-state. Consequently, by comparing with Single Trench Gate SOI LDMOS, the breakdown voltage of the proposed DTG SOI LDMOS is increased by 7.0%, its specific on-resistance is decreased about 50% and its transconductance is increased one time more.

ABSTRACT: This paper presents an effective adaptive algorithm based on cluster analysis for enlarging and demosaicking RGB images using Bayer CFA pattern images. The proposed method is efficient in fixed-point hardware implementation, and outperforms the existing weighing approach in terms of the perceptual quality. Experimental results show that this adaptive algorithm is effective both in implementation and output quality.

ABSTRACT: In this paper, an adaptive minimum transmit power modulation scheme under constant data rate and fixed bit error rate (BER) for the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is proposed. It adjusts the modulation order and allocates the transmit power to each spatial sub-channel when meeting the user's requirements at the cost of minimum transmission power. Compared to the other algorithm, it can obtain good performance with lower computational complexity and can be applied to the wireless communication system. Computer simulation results present the efficiency of the proposed scheme. And its performance under different channel condition has been compared with the other algorithm.

ABSTRACT: In this paper, an efficient decision feedback equalizer (DFE) is presented for sparse channels with large delay echoes, which are encountered in many high-speed wireless communication applications. Unlike the conventional DFE, this proposed equalizer considers that the channel is sparse and large number of DFE taps lead to noise accumulation problem. The new method can achieve efficient equalization by setting the active group for equalization taps and clearing the abandoned taps mechanism. As a result, it can both reduce hardware implementation complexity effectively and improve the performance compared to the conventional DFE. Brief analysis about noise accumulation effects in large-scale equalizer and working mechanism description of this effective algorithm exhibits us where the performance gain lies. Simulation results show that this modified DFE exhibits considerable computational savings, faster convergence, and better performance and improved tracking capabilities than the conventional ones. It is quite fit for applications in high-speed systems, such as high definition television (HDTV) and broadband mobile communication.

ABSTRACT: The adaptive modulation is an important effective technique, which can be applied in the multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) system to achieve a high average spectral efficiency. In this paper, an adaptive minimum transmit power modulation scheme under constant data rate and fixed bit error rate (BER) for the spatial MIMO system is proposed. It adjusts the modulation order and allocates the transmit power to each spatial subchannel when meeting the user's requirements at the cost of minimum transmission power. Computer simulation results present the efficiency of the proposed scheme
