Uji Efektivitas Beberapa Rimpang Zingiberceae Terhadap Kumbang Beras (Sitophylus oryzae L.) Di laboratorium
Muhammad Asmui Parinduri, Effectiveness Test Against Multiple Zingiberceae Rhizome Weevil Rice (Sitophylus oryzae L.) in the laboratory. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of some zingiberaceae rhizome against Sitophylus oryzae L. on rice in the laboratory. This research was conducted in the laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra with elevation of ± 32 m above sea level. This research was conducted from March 2010 to May 2010. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of non-factorial R0 (control / no treatment), R1 (5 gr flour ginger /100 gr rice), R2 (10 gr flour ginger/100 gr rice), R3 (5 gr flour ginger plant/100 gr rice), R4 (10 gr flour ginger plant/100 gr rice), R5 (5 gr flour curcuma/100 gr rice), R6 (10 gr flour curcuma/100 gr rice). The observed parameters are percentage of mortality Imago Sitophylus oryzae L. pests and decrease the weight of material. The results showed that the mortality (%) of adult beetle pests of rice Sitophylus oryzae L. the highest to the lowest in the fourth observation, respectively, are R4 (10 gr flour ginger plant/100 gr rice) at 20,00%, R3 (5 gr flour ginger plant/100 gr rice) of 15,00%, R2 (10 gr flour ginger/100 gr rice) of 10,00%, R6 (10 gr flour curcuma/100 gr rice) of 8,75%, R1 (5 gr flour ginger /100 gr rice) of 7,50%, R5 (5 gr flour curcuma/100 gr rice) of 7,50% and R0 (control) for 0,00%. 040302005
