Cassava pulp samples from five cassava starch manufacturing plants (2 plants from the east and 3 plants from the northeast) were determined for the physical, chemical, and biological properties. The results showed the average density value and percentage of sand contaminated in cassava pulp samples were 347 g/L and 2.16 percent in which the coefficient of variation (percent CV) were 9.35 and 47.69 percent, respectively. The average fat and protein digestibility in young pigs(25 kg.) were 76.48 and 66.20 percent with 6.68 and 9.13 percent CV where as in growing pigs(50 kg.) were 71.51 and 67.12 percent with 10.24 and 6.08 percent CV, respectively. The ME values of cassava pulp were 2,461 and 2,571 Kcal/kg. with 4.75 and 3.12 percent CV in young and growing pigs, respectively. None of mycotoxin was detected in all cassava pulp samples. The average protein, fat, fiber, and starch contents were 2.37, 0.39, 13.99 and 50.19 percent DM with 32.91 38.46 7.86 and 4.78 percent CV, respectively. The average cyanide content in all samples was 4.17 ppm with 167 percent CV. The results from this study showed the degrees of variation in physical, chemical, and biological properties of cassava pulp.
