    ABSTRACT: Abstract. In all the activities usually conducted humans, somehow comes the need to interact with others, which is why relationships are paramount in the development of the human being, because to carry out it is necessary that there reciprocity of contact between individuals, that is, to be carried out intrapersonal and interpersonal relations, which invariably favors cognitive processes, since it is necessary for people to use a series of semantic, pragmatic and syntactic codes, which in use implicitly they provide benefits that contribute to the strengthening of cognitive functions, which fosters future emotional development, consequently favors the capacity to meet the membership requirements inherent in every human being. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the relationships from different perspectives that contribute to human development, in this case, since the study involves university students considered the educational field is precisely the space where relationships run simultaneously social psychology is another area of expertise that provides very useful as part of their study focuses on the genesis of social interaction. Likewise, we must consider how the establishment and operation of working groups were established, so it will be vital to incorporate knowledge brings sociology in order to analyze the prototype interpersonal behavior that prevails in students medical career second and third degree 2013-2014. Consequently in this investigation has been possible to compile some optical about a phenomenology in its formation involves various disciplines of human knowledge, which is why this problem will become a topic of interest to educators and researchers, psychologists and society in general. The resources used to study the issue in question were among others, a questionnaire built expressly for knowing the perception of students about relationships equally applied to those involved a measuring instrument called FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation - Behavior) which measures the profile and prototypes of human behavior in terms of inclusion, control and affection, desired and expressed that students present studied, since data were obtained so such behavior results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, to thereby identify trends and prototypes that prevail in students. Subsequently a literature survey analysis and research, books and previous research related to the study was done. At the end of the same work it has come to reflect on the importance of education an individual receives from an early age, and the way it transcends to the next stages of their physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. Therefore, the study allowed us to observe that while the importance of interpersonal relationships is accepted, they do not go together professionals of technical knowledge in the focus group analyzed. Finally, this paper aims to report the result of research is useful as a reference for further research related field of knowledge regardless of the source of future researchers.
