Publikované texty autorů, kteří přednáší nejen vrámci kurzu Základy muzejní pedagogiky, ale ina předních vysokých školách vnaší zemi, tvoří ucelený produkt. Jeho cílem je seznámit zájemce omuzejní pedagogiku se všemi podstatnými aspekty oboru aumožnit mu opřít se nejen opředložené teoretické základy, ale využít je arozvíjet přímo vmuzejní praxi. Proto po úvodu kzákladům obecné pedagogiky avývoji muzejní edukace od Vladimíra Jůvy následuje uvedení do oblasti muzeologie od Pavla Holmana astať pojednávající ovýznamu muzeí amuzejních sbírek jako prostředku vzdělávání avýchovy, včetně základních východisek muzejní didaktiky od Lenky Mrázové. Většina edukačních programů muzeí je připravována pro děti aškolní návštěvy. Vzdělávacím potřebám dospělých návštěvníků věnují muzea obecně menší pozornost. Kumenšení této disproporce se snaží přispět následující text úvodu do andragogiky od Michala Šeráka. Inkluzivní role muzeí ve společnosti je pak sohledem na znevýhodněné osoby představena vkapitole Lucie Jagošové omuzejních návštěvnících se specifickými potřebami. Pokud jsem již výše uvedl termín edukační obrat, je třeba rozvést, jak se vzdělávací akcent v prezentační působnosti muzea projeví ivjeho vnitřních procesech, tedy vřízení aplánování. Tématu je věnována kapitola Petry Šobáňové snázvem „Plánování edukačních aktivit muzea“. V konkurenci kulturní nabídky apestrých možností trávení volného času se dnešní muzea musí prosadit nejen kvalitou vlastních kulturních produktů, ale schopností je profesionálně nabízet. Závěr tvoří text Jana Doláka na téma komunikace, marketing apublic relation v muzeu.
Knížka Šperky Ulriky von Levetzow (Hanus R. a Hladký P., 2019) vznikla při
120. výročí úmrtí paní baronky. V úvodních kapitolách pojednává velmi
podrobně o historii rodu Levetzow, který přišel z Německa, kdy se paní
Amalie von Brösigke provdala za Františka Josefa hraběte
z Klebelsberg-Thumburgu (jeden ze zakladatelů dnešního Národního muzea v
Praze). Spolu se usadili na zámku v Třebívlicích v Českém
středohoří. Paní Amalie přišla do Čech i se svými třemi dcerami, přičemž do
nejstarší Ulriky (tehdy 17-ti leté) se zamiloval J. W. Goethe (ve věku 72
let). Otčím ale vztahu nepřál, a tak již Goethe nikdy do Čech nepřijel. Pan
František J. hrabět z Klebelsbergu byl zároveň velmi podnikavý, a tak
organizoval těžbu českých granátů na svém panství. Velmi dobrá produkce
podnítila i založení brusírny přímo v Třebívlicích. Takzvaný Ulričin šperk,
který je hlavním tématem knížky, byl ve skutečnosti darem hraběte Františka
Ulričině matce, a teprve potom ho Ulrika zdědila. České granáty na šperku
jsou natolik veliké, že velmi pravděpodobně nemohly být získány těžbou, ale
pocházejí nejpíš ze starších šperků. V knížce je zároveň popsána i
dobová těžba a brusírny drahých kamenů v Království českém, následuje
historie soupravy šperků Ulriky von Levetzow, včetně popisu poslední
krádeže. Další kapitoly jsou věnovány velmi detailnímu popisu šperku včetně
gemologických charakteristik českých granátů a analýz použitého drahého
kovu. Následně je popsán proces restaurování šperku.
The book Jewels of Ulrika von Levetzow (Hanus R. and Hladký P., 2019) was written at the occasion of
120th anniversary of baroness's death. The first chapters describe in detail the history of the Levetzow dynasty coming from Germany. Mrs. Amalie von Brösigke married František Josef count of Klebelsberg-Thumburg (one of the National Museum founders). They settled down in the Třebívlice castle in the Central Bohemian Uplands (České středohoří). Amalie came to Bohemia with her three daughters. The eldest daughter was Ulrika. J. W. Goethe (at the age of 72) fell in love with 17 years old Ulrika. However, her step father was not in favour of their relationship, so Goethe never came to Bohemia again. František J. count of Klebelsberg was also very enterprising and organised Bohemian garnets mining in his manor. High production of garnets initiated opening of a grinding shop directly in Třebívlice. So called Ulrika's jewel – the topic of the book – was, in fact, a present of count František to Ulrika's mother and Ulrika inherited the jewel later. Bohemian garnets in the jewel are so big, that mining could hardly be their source. More likely, they originated from older jewels. The book also describes historical mining and gem grinding shops in the Kingdom of Bohemia. History of the set of jewels belonging to Ulrika von Levetzow together with description of their theft is described later. Following chapters describe the jewels in detail. Gemmological characterisation of Bohemian garnets and analysing of the metal used in the set are also described. The story of the restoration process follows (book is in Czech language).
In ancient Greece and Rome, Medusa’s head was a universal protective device of the first class. In Italy in the second half of the 15th century, this image and its meaning were revived. However, the first steps were taken 100 years earlier, in Prague in the time of Charles IV, Bohemian King (1346) and Holy Roman Emperor (1355). There is an ancient Roman gem which was on guard on the ceiling of his private oratory at Karlštejn Castle in 1365. Another ancient Roman gem was protecting Charles IV’s reliquary with the Chip of Wood from Christ’s Crib (1368 or soon afterwards). More importantly, ancient Roman
gems with Medusa protected Charles IV’s crown of the Roman King (1349), which he gave to Aachen Cathedral after his coronation. The gems on this crown stressed the continuity between the Holy Roman Empire and its ancient predecessor. The message was crucial for Charles IV, who by his Aachen coronation proclaimed his strong will to become the Emperor and hence the successor of the ancient Roman rulers.
An iron part of a helmet was excavated in 1958 at Ronovec Castle. It was a simple visor in the shape of a foldable nose-guard. Due to the lack of information about the context of the item and to its unique position among published archaeological artefacts and militaria from armouries, its chronological and social milieu had to be determined with the use of a broader analysis.
As part of the process of cataloguing medieval and early modern militaria contained in Czech and Moravian collections, the author processed several items from the museums in Vysoké Mýto and Choceň, Eastern Bohemia. This study focuses on longswords, one of which allegedly was found on the site of Žampach Castle. The others hail from various locations - unfortunately no longer known - within the city limits of Choceň (Pardubice region). On the blade of the Žampach sword, there are a wolf and unicorn running to the left, thanks to which we can identify it as having been manufactured in the town of Passau around the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. A typologically identical sword from Choceň hails from the same period. The remaining two swords (types XVII, H1, 1 and XVII, H1, 1b) can be dated to the second half of the 14th century and the first half of the 15th century.
Man of sorrows on a console with an angel bust and with an inscription tablet from the Old Town City Hall in Prague was created by the Master of the Týn Calvary, which was shortly after the Hussite wars one of the most important sculptors in Prague. Despite of that his work remains permanently discussed by experts and here described work of art has previously been a subject of various hypotheses. Thanks to restoration works the authors had the opportunity to investigate whole sculpture in terms of materials analysis, which enabled to confirm by scientific methods that all three parts form a coherent ensemble, created by the same master’s workshop. In gilded areas of the angel bust a Zwishgold was sticked on a thin layer of boiled oil. In all incarnates an organic red lake pigment was found in particular, that was used instead of vermillion. The inscription tablet was studied for the first time and the presence of the oldest Gothic painting layers was here confirmed.
