This paper describes a novel fibre orientation profile optimization software. The software, called HOCS Fibre, is used to ensure fulfilment of given fibre orientation profile guarantees as well as to solve runnability problems caused by a poor fibre orientation profile, both on dilution and conventional headboxes.
