Abstract

This paper reports a new species of Eneopteridae f rom China , namely Sonotrella (Calyptotrella ) quadrivittata sp . nov. Type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Southwest Forestry College Kunming , China .

中国隐蟋属一新种记述 (直翅目,蟋蟀总科, 蟋科)

摘 　要 　记述了中国云南隐蟋属 1新种 ,即四纹隐蟋 Sonotrella (Calyptotrella)quadrivittata sp . nov. 。模式标本保存
于西南林学院昆虫标本馆。

　　隐蟋属 Sonotrella 由Gorochov , 1988 年建立,
模式种 Sonotrella (Sonotrella)mekongica Goroc hov ,
1988。Ingrisch (1997 )认 为 Sonotrella Gorochov ,
1988 是Ca lyp tot ryp us S auss ure , 1878 的同物异名,
但Gorochov (2002 )认 为 Ca lyp tot ryp us Sa uss ure ,
1878 是一个废弃的学名 , Otte 等(2006)也赞同这
个观点。Gorochov (1990 ,1992 ,2002)、刘宪伟等
(1993)均报道过该属的种类 。Gorochov (2002)把
隐蟋属分为 3个亚属 ,隐蟋亚属 Sonotrella 、穴蟋亚
属Calyptotrella 和大蟋亚属 Megatrella 。迄今为 止 ,
隐蟋属 Sonotrella 共记载 23 种(Otte 等,2006),
均分布于亚洲。我国该属仅记录 1种,即大隐蟋
Sonotrell a major Liu , Yin et Wang , 1993 ,分布于云
南。Gorochov (2002)认为该种可能归于隐蟋亚属。
属征 　体中大型 ,背腹稍扁平;额突略或明显
窄于触角柄节;前胸背板较短,前缘窄;前翅和后
翅发达 ,雄性前翅具长而较直的横向发声脉 ,端区
较长;雄性后胸背腺较大 ,近方形 ,下凹底部平坦;
雄性肛上板具特化的骨化侧区 ,其表面被有较密的
黑色小突起;雄性下生殖板较短,端部为或宽或窄
的钝圆形 。雄性外生殖器 :阳茎基背片呈 V型或 U
型,并具 1对后中叶 ,阳茎基侧突形态多样。
穴蟋亚属 Calyptotrell a 已记录 7种,该亚属的
种类通常体较小,雄性肛上板具附侧叶或稍膨大。
雄性外生殖器阳茎基背片后中叶较宽 ,阳茎基侧突
较发达 ,阳茎基外突具 1对骨化的钩状结构。
报道中国云南 1新 种 ,即四纹隐蟋 Sonot rella
(Calyptotrella)q ua dr ivi tt at a sp . nov . , 模式标本保
存于西南林学院昆虫标本馆。
四纹隐蟋 S onot rella (Calyptotrella )q uadrivittata
sp . n ov . (图1～6)
雄性 　体中型 ,较粗壮 ,被绒毛。头背面黄褐
色,腹面黄色;复眼后方具黄白色眼后带,向前延
伸穿过复眼;头顶具 1横向暗斑,其后方具 4条淡
褐色纵条纹 ,中间两条纹内侧各具 1分支 ,分支几
乎相接;触角丝状 ,黄色 ;上唇和唇基墨绿色;下
颚须和下唇须黄色 ,下颚须末节浅黄绿色,两者端
节均膨大。单眼小 ,不明显 ,额突稍窄于触角柄节。
前胸背板梯形 ,前缘略凹,后缘中部稍凸,呈波浪
形,侧隆线不明显;侧片长大于宽 ,前后下角钝圆 ,
下缘略凸;前胸背板背片黑褐色,中部具不规则的
黄褐色斑 ,侧片黄色。前足胫节稍膨大,内侧听器
裂缝状 ,外侧听器卵圆形;后足胫节背面内侧具 7
枚刺 ,外侧具 6枚刺 ,刺间具小刺;股节黄色 ,胫
节和跗节浅黄绿色 ,胫节端部和第 2跗节端部稍暗。
前翅超过腹端 ,背区具 6条斜脉,镜膜较发达,宽
明显大于长 ,内具 1条分脉,端区较长 ,具不规则
网状翅脉 ,侧区具 14～16 条斜纵脉;背区浅褐色 ,
基区翅脉及发声脉和对角脉红褐色 ,端区基部横脉
的中部和 Cu1脉端部黑色 ,侧区黄色。后翅长于前
翅,灰色 。后胸背腺发达 ,近方形 ,黑色 ,中央具
骨化的片状中突 ,背腺被稀疏的短毛 ,中突后方分
布有一些较密的长毛 。腹部较粗壮 ,背面黑色 ,侧
面和腹面黄色。尾须基部较粗,暗褐色,端部细,
黄色。
肛上板较发达,缺附侧叶,骨化区明显向两侧扩
展,被有密的黑色小突起,肛上板后缘平直。下生殖
板较宽短 ,端部宽圆弧形。外生殖器 :阳茎基背片背

面观呈 V型,基部两侧各具 1长椭圆形膜质囊;阳茎
基背片内缘具 1对暗色膜质小突起,其外缘具 1对密
接且较宽短的中叶;阳茎基背片侧叶较长,端内角
尖;阳茎基侧突弯曲,其基部外侧缘和端部内侧缘被
较密的小刺状突;阳茎基外突具 1对较发达的骨化
钩;阳茎基内突骨化较强,端半部开裂。

♂体长 1715mm ; 全长 (包括后翅)2815m m ;
前胸背板长 310mm ; 前翅长 2217m m ; 后足股节长
1415m m 。
正模 ♂,云南陇川 (陇把镇垒良村),1 100 m ,
2003211208 ,司徒英贤采。
新 种 与 Sonotrella (Calyptotrella )bicolor
(Ingrisch , 1997)相似 ,主要区别:1)外生殖器:
阳茎基背片基部两侧各具 1长椭圆形膜质囊;阳茎
基背片内缘具 1对暗色膜质小突,其外缘具 1对密
接且较宽短的中叶;阳茎基背片侧叶较长 ,端内角
尖;阳茎基侧突弯曲 ,其基部外侧缘和端部内侧缘
被密的微刺 ;阳茎基外突具 1对较发达的骨化钩;
2)后胸背腺被稀疏的短毛 ,仅中片后方被较密的长
毛;3)头顶具 1横向的暗色斑 ,其后方具 4条淡褐
色纵条纹 ,中央两条纹各具 1向内侧的分支,分支
几乎相接;4)腹部背面黑色 ,侧面和腹面黄色;5)
肛上板后缘近平直。
词源 :新种命名根据头部背面具 4条淡褐色纵
纹,种名源于拉丁词“ quadri2”(四)和 “vitta”
(条纹)。

The new species is similar to Sonotrella
(Calyptotrella)bicolor (Ingrisch , 1997), but differs
from latter i n : 1)genitalia (Figs1325)with base of
epiphallus having a long ovoid hyaline sacculus on each
side; inner margin of epiphallus with a pair of small
dark membranous protuberances , outer mar gin with a
pair of wide and short medial lobes w hich attach to
each ot her closely ; lateral lobes of epip hallus rather
lo ng , f ai ntl y c ur ved , i nne r a pi cal a ngl e cusp at e ;
epiphallus parameres curved , outer mar gin of base a nd
inne r ma rgi n of ape x w ith n umerous s pi nules ;
ect ophallus w ith a p air of la rge scler otized hooks ; 2)
metanotal gla nd large with a tra nsverse , erected
lamella , behind which with a few but rather dense long
hairs , rest wit h sparse and short hairs (Fig16);3)
vertex wit h a tra nsverse dark sp ot , behind which with
four longitudinal li ght brown stripes , of which two in
middle with braches nearly attached to each ot her ; 4)
dorsal side of abdomen dark , lateral and vent ral sides
yellow ; 5)posterior margin of supra anal plate almost
straight (Fig12).
Measurements. ♂Length of body 1715mm ;
lengt h of body with wings 2815m m ; len gth of
pronotum 310m m ; len gth of teg mina 2217mm ;
lengt h of hind femora 1415mm .

Etymology. The specific name is derived f rom its
dorsal head with four longitudinal st ripes.

A checklist of Chinese crickets (Orthoptera: Gryllidea)

A checklist of Chinese crickets, including Taiwan, is offered. Presently 331 species or subspecies have been reported including true crickets, scale crickets, ant crickets and mole crickets belonging to 6 families, 16 subfamilies and 83 genera. Modicogryllus (Modicogryllus) maculatus (Shiraki, 1930) is moved to Comidoblemmus as C. maculatus (Shiraki, 1930) comb. nov. Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) koshunensis (Shiraki, 1911) is moved to Turanogryllus as T. koshunensis (Shiraki, 1911) comb. nov. Qingryllus Chen & Zheng, 1995 syn. is the junior synonym of Goniogryllus Chopard, 1936. Loxoblemmus angulatus Bey-Bienko, 1956 syn. is the junior synonym of Loxoblemmus appendicularis Shiraki, 1930. Cophogryllus kuhlgatzi Karny, 1908 syn. is the junior synonym of Teleogryllus (Brachyteleogryllus) occipitalis occipitalis (Serville, 1838). Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) aspersus borealis Gorochov, 1985 syn. is the junior synonym of Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) aspersus aspersus (Walker, 1869). Modicogryllus (Modicogryllus) latefasciatus (Chopard, 1933) syn. is the junior synonym of Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) micado (Saussure, 1877). Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) ornatus caudatus (Shiraki, 1930) syn. is the junior synonym of Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) ornatus ornatus (Shiraki, 1911). Dianemobius nigrofasciatus (Matsumura, 1904) syn. is the junior synonym of Dianemobius fascipes (Walker, 1869). Polionemobius mikado (Shiraki, 1911) syn. is the junior synonym of Polionemobius taprobanensis (Walker, 1869). Vietacheta picea Gorochov, 1992, Oecanthus euryelytra Ichikawa, 2001, Oecanthus similator Ichikawa, 2001, Xabea levissima Gorochov, 1992, Pteronemobius (Pteronemobius) yezoensis (Shiraki, 1911), Metioche (Metioche) japonica (Ichikawa, 2001), Natula matsuurai Sugimoto, 2001 are the first records from China.

Revision of the cricket subfamily Podoscirtinae Saussure, 1878 (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) from China

The article revised Chinese Podoscirtinae species. Three new species of Aphonoides Chopard, 1940 were reported. Two species of the genera of Aphonoides Chopard, 1940 and Mistshenkoana Gorochov, 1990 were firstly recorded from China. Six synonyms of the genera of Zvenella Gorochov, 1988 and Phyllotrella Gorochov, 1988 were proposed. All species mentioned above and some relevant taxa were described and illustrated, and keys as well as distribution map were provided.

Taxonomy of Podoscirtinae (Orthoptera: Gryllidae). Part 1: The male genitalia and Indo-Malayan Podoscirtini

The morphology of the male genitalia of Podoscirtinae and the nomenclature of their structures are discussed. Six Indo-Malayan genera of Podoscirtini are characterized; 4 new genera, 2 new subgenera, 20 new species, and 5 new subspecies are described; several other species are revised (including the descriptions of some unknown females and new data on distribution). One generic name (Calyptotrypus Sauss.) and one specific name (Platydactylus helvolus Serv.) are considered nomina dubia. New synonymy (Zvenella nigrotibialis Liu, Yin & Wang, syn. n. = Z. geniculata; Madasumma obscuripennis Chop., syn. n. = Z. parcevenosa; Calyptotrypus flavomarginatus Hsia & Liu, syn. n. = Valia pulchra) is established. The lectotype for Truljalia hofmanni is designated.
