Mathematics for Game Developers: Teacher Edition Screen Reader Files for Braille-based readers and Accessibility-compliant PDFs. Our conversations demonstrate that .docx files are compatible with screen reader keyboard shortcuts and .pdf files are not. This posting links to both. They are not uploading to ResearchGate. Abstract
Accessibility compliant content. This Teacher's edition of Mathematics for Game Developers includes answers to even numbered exercises and a Notes for Teacher's section that offers classroom ideas for lecture presentations. We found, in the classroom, that many edge learners develop games with an intuitive understanding of topics they turn away from in the mathematics classroom. Students/learners see this book as a way to develop games, they do not use the words advanced mathematics or calculus. Mathematics for Game Developers explores the math behind how scenes appear, characters move, and action evolves. The basic ideas of how mathematical instruments control action and motion in the games you develop. For example, vectors determine object position, speed, and define distance. Matrices inform and store transformations like translation, rotation, scale, and skew. Previous math experience is not required; a desire to score points and outwit opponents is key.
