Abstract

Holiday celebrations carried out by Muslims include Eid al-Fitr, and the second is Eid al-Adha, or what people call the Eid al-Sacrifice holiday. Eid al-Adha has provisions that have been determined according to Islamic law. These provisions include being Muslim, financially capable, resourceful, and mature. People who are said to have abilities are people who are sufficient in terms of assets, both for themselves and their families. Sacrificial meat is a food product that has the potential for danger both biologically, physically, and chemically, which occurs when the sacrificial animal is slaughtered. Therefore, it is necessary to implement cleanliness and sanitation during the process of handling and processing sacrificial meat for the sacrificial animal slaughter committee at the Al-Ikhsan Mosque and the Sanden community in South Kramat, Magelang City.

Sacrifice is a necessity in the activities of Muslims every year. In addition to having a vertical dimension in the form of obedience to the commands of Allah SWT, sacrificial worship also has a horizontal dimension that is urgent for ukhuwah Islamiyah, namely concern for others and justice in realizing Muslim unity. The progress of the times achieved by modern civilization can actually be solutions that facilitate all forms of Islamic worship practices. Collective goat sacrifices, online sacrificial worship, sacrificial slaughter with mechanical devices, and sacrificial canning are some of the dynamics that occur in Muslim communities in the world. These dynamics must be addressed wisely in accordance with the objectives of the Shari'a. The progress of the era with all its derivatives requires every Muslim to continue to strive to understand and explore the philosophical and axiological meanings of all the worship carried out, including in the implementation of sacrificial worship.

Slaughterhouse is a public service unit that works to supply safe, healthy, whole and halal meat, also for monitoring and surveilance animal disease and zoonosis. The condition of a slaughterhouse is very affecting in the supply of healthy meat for people. This study aimed to find out the eligible condition of slaughter house at Sigi District. The research included analytical survey with cross sectional design, which done by observation and interview. The research was conducted at Biromaru slaughter house and three pig slaughter house at Jono Oge Village from April to November 2014. The results of the study showed that the condition of slaughter house at Sigi does not meet the standards set by the government, so it is necessary to do some improvement including the management, advice, and the infrastructure. Rumah Potong Hewan (RPH) merupakan unit pelayanan masyarakat dalam penyediaan daging yang Aman, Sehat, Utuh, dan Halal (ASUH), tempat pemantauan dan survailans penyakit hewan serta zoonosis. Kondisi RPH yang baik sangat mendukung dalam penyediaan kebutuhan daging yang sehat bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kelayakan RPH atau T empat Pemotongan Hewan (TPH) di Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi di RPH Biromaru dan tiga TPH Babi yang ada di Desa Jono Oge dari bulan April– November 2014 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi RPH/TPH di Kabupaten Sigi tidak memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga disarankan perlu adanya perbaikan infrastruktur meliputi manajemen, saran, dan prasarana yang ada. © 2015 Jurnal Vektor Penyakit.
