Forensic linguistics has gained popularity over the past few years across many academic fields, particularly in judicial systems, legal and forensic difficulties, investigation, and open-source intelligence globally. The expression often refers to the knowledgeable and exact interpretation provided by forensic linguists after their legal and expert examination of spoken or written language. It is frequently used in legal proceedings, particularly in the criminal justice system. Forensic linguistics is frequently used in the legal system to assess language evidence, whether it is voice-recorded or written, in civil disputes or criminal cases. There are two main reasons for conducting the analysis or examination. When relevant investigations are made to identify witnesses or suspects in particular cases or scenes or to determine the importance of writing or utterance to a case, the analysis is first put to use. Second, forensic linguistics is essential anytime samples of spoken or written language are introduced as evidence in court. Expert testimony on how to evaluate the evidence in these situations is offered by forensic linguists.
