Abstract

Art is the important product of cultural heritage, in this context painting and visual arts are transporting old culture and history from past to present. Miniature is the name given to the small size of fine artwork that is using very thin size brush which called “ Fearther Pen”. Miniature artists are named Nakkaş and Negargar. The methods were applied in Miniature artworks are formed different styles which is depending on differentiation in culture and period. The work area of Miniature is very wide and it reflects the culture that it lives in. Visual arts are important arts in historical research as well as valuable architectural buldings. An overview of miniatures are explaining documents for history of architecture, style and construction methods. Tabriz was the capital city of Gazan Han period and it lived the brightest period. During this period Raberashidi University was established in the city and science and art became forefront subjects. Kameledin Behzat, who was born in Herat, settled in Iran as a child and earned a reputation for miniature studies in the years. Shah Ismail from the powerful sultans of the Safavid State; After making Tabriz as a capital city Behzat was presided over by the Royal Library. Behzad's artworks reached the peak of his art during these periods and from the point of view of education, important painters and miniature artists of Safavid period became students of Behzad. The purpose of this article is to reach the source of philosophy of approach and style with examining production, construction and architectural expressions which is described in miniature. Behzat's style and philosophy will be examined by considering architectural miniatures prepared under the direction of Behzad. In addition, it can also be considered as a scientific document for the architectural situation and the architectural appearance of the lost buildings according to the past situation. This article try to study the miniatures of the artist in the literature and try to document the features and style in terms of architecture.

