In hospice music therapy how much time will we have with a patient? What can music therapy offer them? Will it be possible to use musical instruments? How can I use improvisation to maintain a close relationship with a patient who will die? The chapter addresses these issues by giving guidance on how to prepare and carry out a session. This study analyzes how Flores' cultural elements are used as a marketing communication strategy at Kafe Bajawa. Data were collected through direct observation of both exterior and interior decorations, as well as customer interviews to understand their responses to the presented cultural elements. The findings indicate that Flores' cultural elements play a significant role in shaping the café's identity and appeal. Analysis based on Consumer Brandscape shows that cultural signs create an authentic and unique impression, while emotional territories indicate that these cultural elements build emotional connections with customers through a comfortable and dynamic atmosphere. There is no cultural tension between traditional and modern elements; instead, they harmoniously blend, particularly in interior design and the music experience. From the perspective of cultural categories, Kafe Bajawa successfully positions itself as a venue that embodies Flores' cultural heritage in a modern context. Data triangulation through customer interviews confirms that the displayed cultural elements reinforce the café’s image as a space rich in local identity while remaining comfortable for an urban audience. The success of this strategy lies in balancing culture and modernity, creating an engaging experience that fosters customer loyalty.

Musical intelligence in early childhood is the ability to understand, produce, and express music that includes rhythm, tone, harmony, and expression. This study aims to explore the role of guitar and pianica musical instruments in improving musical intelligence and fine motor development in early childhood. [Show full abstract] including scientific journals and reference books that discuss the relationship between music and child development. The results of the study indicate that the use of guitar and pianica in learning can help children understand the concept of music more deeply, improve musical memory, and strengthen hand and finger coordination, which contributes to fine motor development. In addition, musical activities carried out in groups can also improve children's social skills. Music-based learning that combines games and instruments has been shown to be more effective in fostering interest and musical skills in early childhood. In addition to the musical aspect, the use of musical instruments also has a positive impact on children's cognitive skills. Children who are accustomed to playing music tend to have better focus and concentration, and are able to recognize sound patterns more accurately. This activity also trains hand and eye coordination, which plays an important role in children's writing readiness. It is important for PAUD educators to receive adequate training in music teaching in order to optimize simple musical instrument-based learning. Thus, early music education not only impacts musical intelligence, but also children's motor, social, and cognitive skills. This study recommends the integration of music as part of the PAUD curriculum to support holistic child development.

The research evaluates the performance of Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest (RF), along with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) as models for classification purposes. Experimentally CNNs demonstrated superior performance when compared to mainstream machine learning strategies because they retain both spatial and temporal features in audio information thus achieving better classification results. Performance of the model increases to greater degrees through data augmentation along with proper tuning of model hyperparameters. The research demonstrates how machine learning techniques can identify musical instruments thus opening new possibilities for automatic music analysis systems and instant instrument detection capabilities.

Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting System to Charge Batteries with the Use of a Portable Musical Organ

The implementation of piezoelectric devices under the keys of an electric organ was carried out. A theoretical model was developed to estimate the amount of energy we could recover. The system was characterized by controlled forces. The volume generated by the forces was measured via a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) using the open-source music production software “LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio) 1.2.2 version”. The electric potential difference was measured as a function of the volume generated by the pianist. The voltages generated for different frequencies of the pianist’s rhythm were studied. The efficiency calculated in the mathematical model agreed with that obtained in the implemented system. The study results indicate that the batteries were recharged, which resulted in 53 s of organ operation.
