ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a comprehensive investigation of individualised learning from a global perspec-
tive, including a variety of case studies and best practices from varied educational contexts around
the world. As education undergoes a major transition in reaction to technological breakthroughs and
evolving pedagogical approaches, the concept of individualised learning has acquired great support.
This chapter delves into the numerous methods in which personalized learning is implemented, adapted,
and perfected across different cultural, social, and educational contexts. Through an assessment of
real-world case studies, readers get insights into effective methods, obstacles, and innovative solutions
applied in personalized learning efforts. By stressing the transnational elements of customised learning,
this chapter adds to a fuller understanding of its potential and adaptability, promoting the exchange of
ideas and practices on a global scale.
INTRODUCTION
In the ever-evolving environment of education, the individualised learning paradigm emerges as a beacon
of hope and innovation. It reflects a transformative pedagogical method that tailors instruction to the
particular needs, preferences, and abilities of each student. With the unrelenting march of technologi-
cal breakthroughs and an increased emphasis on student-centered learning, classrooms and educational
institutions throughout the world are witnessing a fundamental upheaval through individualised learn-
ing. In this extensive book part, we start on a captivating trip to examine worldwide perspectives on
personalised learning, drawing from a diverse range of instructional case studies and best practices.

Global Perspectives on Personalized Learning
This section serves as a compelling spotlight on the potential of individualised learning to challenge and
modify long-standing educational paradigms. By going into the core principles that support this method,
we obtain a clearer grasp of how it can profoundly shift the way we think about education. Moreover, it
shows the amazing adaptability of individualised learning, demonstrating its usefulness across a range
of cultural, social, and academic situations. Through a series of enlightening case studies, we hope to
uncover real-world instances of tailored learning efforts from various locations across the globe. These
case studies offer vital insights into the problems encountered, the unique ways implemented, and the
achievements gained when employing personalized learning methodologies.
As we stand at the crossroads of a fast changing world and a diverse student population with individual
needs and goals, it becomes increasingly obvious that personalized learning is not only a pedagogical
fad but a requirement. Educators, politicians, and stakeholders alike will discover in this area a plethora
of thoughts and insights that can serve as a guiding light in their attempts to address the ever-evolving
needs of today’s kids. By sharing these worldwide viewpoints and best practices, our purpose is to ignite
inspiration and inform those who are dedicated to transforming education into a more student-centered,
inclusive, and ultimately, a more productive enterprise.
The target audience for this chapter, titled “Global Perspectives on Personalized Learning: Case
Studies and Best Practices,” is primarily educators, but it also caters to policymakers, researchers, and
a broader audience interested in the transformative trends in education. The content aims to provide
insights, case studies, and best practices that are relevant and applicable to educators seeking to imple-
ment personalized learning strategies in their classrooms. Policymakers can benefit from understand-
ing the global perspectives and challenges associated with personalized learning to inform education
policies. Researchers may find valuable data and examples for further exploration and analysis. The
broader audience, including parents, students, and anyone interested in the future of education, can gain
a comprehensive understanding of the potential, challenges, and innovative solutions related to person-
alized learning on a global scale.
In the pages that follow, we will start on a comprehensive and illuminating examination of individu-
alised learning. From the theoretical underpinnings to the practical applications, from the obstacles faced
to the inventive solutions devised, this area promises to be an important resource for anybody seeking
to navigate the intriguing landscape of modern education. Together, we will embark into the world of
personalized learning, where each student’s experience is uniquely constructed, and the future of educa-
tion is being reshaped before our very eyes.
UNDERSTANDING PERSONALIZED LEARNING
It is essential to start with a thorough understanding of what personalised learning actually means in
the quest to transform education for personalised learning. This first section, which gives a thorough
overview of the major ideas, guiding principles, and theoretical frameworks supporting personalised
learning, will serve as the basis for our investigation.
Defining Personalized Learning
